The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

Just ordered 2 more Kingbrite 550s these rip off artists are trying to charge me 160 for shipping for each board when it was 80 bucks each a few days ago when I placed in the order.

I said Ill wait for the slow shipping and theyre saying itll take 3-4 weeks or more just to ship it smh.

and apparently theres a new fee called a "translation fee" thats $10-15 extra for each board.

bastards taking advantage of this pandemic raising the prices with nonsense fees and last second shipping raises

I might cancel it and go with Meijiu

Exactly tell then you were quoted less a few days ago and you're going to just use Meiju who is going to uphold their quoted shipping. They'll moat likely lower it to keep the business.

i did....on two different occassions to Vivi.

First i tried to contact Vicky who you guys say gives discounts but she said I see youve ordered from Kingbrite before just stick with your original supply helper.

Then told Vivi...Meijiu is giving cheaper prices for the same board... and she said we use actual lm301h diodes...we dont know what Meijiu uses.

Sucked it up and said okay Ill go with you guys again. Ordered it a few days ago and got a message yesterday saying the price of shipping magically jumped up double for each board and the price on top of the brand new "Translation fee."

Just buy boards only stick them on a alu sheet, use a us bought driver. Cheap price for parts, and for shipping.
China punishes the lazy who wanna buy finished kit, what happened to diy?
 
Could someone point me in the right direction? Looking at these. Not sure if this is the one for a 3x3 tent? do I need the UV and IR model? do they put out enough UV and IR to justify the price difference? Also there is another model listed as 240w “double” which seems like a better shape for a square tent but is also more expensive. pretty confused.

Yeah they did the same to me. They said UPS isn’t servicing China right now and DHL costs twice as much. I ended up just ordering boards and a heatsink From kingbrite and then ordering a power supply and everything in the USA. Came out cheaper than double shipping. I’ll just put it together myself.

Me too, especially if you can push the priice down that much. Previously meijiu have been able to do 90 cri on 561c but with larger moq. But still, i feel id like to have a spectrum meter at hand for testing. My meijiu boards seems like they arent all the same cct even if their supposed to bbe all 3000k.
