would a mars hydro ts 600 be a good light for a beginner like myself and would this be sufficient for just 2 simple autos in a 90x50 grow space and can i expect a decent yield from that ? i will be using 70% coco 30% perlite on this feeding schedule https://www.growweedeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Auto-Flowering-Coco-Coir-Nutrients-Flora-Series-Trio-CaliMagic.pdf and will go 18 hours on 6 hours off and will be going for fast bud auto gelato and another fastbuds auto seed havent made my mind up yet (please suggest).also if iam in a area with hard/very hard water do i need to purchase calmag or shall i purchase some instead. if anyone has better recommendations on nutrients and schedule please feel free thank you guys and have a good day <3

Hey dude, sorry nobody helped you. Its a ridiculously good light for the $. I have TSW 2000. don't regret my purchase for a sec. It would work good for one medium plant max...if just starting, 2 will be a bit too small. Peace.

Hey man I am currently on my first run and I didn't go for a mars hydro 600ts in the end I done alot more research and I got a kingbrite 3500k 240w quentem board from alibaba for about a extra 40 compared to the Mars hydro 600 alot more bang for my buck

it seems very good light to me i have it not even on half brightness atm and my girls are 1 week old im afraid of stressing them out to much it is a solid light doesn't get to warm at all but that being said i havent had it at full power yet its good for its price 100%

It's a good light and great for a beginner. The problem I see is your grow space is a very odd size. 50 x 90... The 50 is no problem... But the 90 is too long. This light is meant for more of a square space... Something like 60 x 60 would be about perfect. However don't let that stop you from growing... Just realize the ends of your grow space aren't going to get the light they should...

A Mars Hydro sp150 would probably work way better for you. It would be about perfect for your grow space.

I’ve been doing a lot of research on lights and decided to go the diy route using strip lights. I like the flexibility and I found I can get double the power of the mars hydro for the same price and I have the flexibility to change it up as I see fit. I will also be doing strings of lights through the canopy. I found ledgardner is a great forum for the diy route and met an Aussie that builds and tests leds. He is about to start producing “Buddies” to run through your canopy so you get good penetration of light throughout the plant.

the problem i would have getting a 60x60 is the light might not actually fit in the space the light it self is 2 foot long i feel this light fits in my space really well with only about 10 inches either side and iam only running 2 autos :)

Well Mars says the "flower coverage" for this light is 1.5'x1.5' and it is only 14" long... Not 2ft.

Mars sp150 has a flower area of 1.5x3 which is almost exactly the size of your area... Just saying .. Screenshot_20200524-161723.png

Shit dude! Crank it up! I burned mine at 15" and 100% power. It was good at 18"+. She can handle more during flower than in veg. I went to 30" during veg just to stretch it a bit, but it didn't do any stretching. Quantum boards are tha shiznit! Good luck bro!
