I am not voting. I am against voting. It is just small drama to keep the masses occupied. There is bigger stuff going on in this world that a stupid vote wont change. There are elite bankers that are worried about their best interest, do you think you are really going to change the world? No, they are and they do and most people don't understand.

i agree with you here, but it still pisses me off that i "dont have the right" because of a mistake i made at 17... when i was too young to vote anyway.... i've never had the right to vote; according to our police state government

Man, you can vote for what ever you want but it won;t change anything. You are ignorant. i am not being mean but you have a lot to learn. You have to open your eyes to sum things.
So what if obama wins. Do you think that your standard of living will change that much? Ok, maybe you get a tax cut or whatev. That is about it. In the long run, there are people that are more rich and more powerful then you could ever imagine. They are elite bankers, they are doing what is in their best interest and the best intrest of money. They wnat to keep their familys rich for generations and generations and generations. They aren't going to give any of this up for you either.

Yeah exactily.
I think voting should be manditory. Everyone gets a ballot, if you don't vote you get a warrant and go to jail. Easy as that. Then we would get accurate results. That or maybe you don't get your tax return until you vote for someone. Just that the vote is made up of all old people and nerds.

As long as your finished with what ever punishment u got. So if your on probation or have not finished community service from a conviction then you can't vote. I'm a felon but have been finished with all my fines and shit for 3 years and i just got back from voting.

yeah, i did mine; just havent had the extra $5-600 it takes here to put my expungement papers through.... and that is saving money on a lawyer by having my wife draw up the papers

One of my brothers is a felon and can't vote either.Can't own a firearm.He told me that if this country is ever invaded, they will assassinate prisoners so they don't turn on the U.S.Anyone ever heard of this?

Yes, I believe my standard of living, and everyone else's (rich, middle class, and poor), is going to change quite a lot and for the better as a result of Obama's and the Democratic Party's policies. That's one of the reasons I voted for him. Not just the tax cut, although that will be very welcome, but by investment in infrastructure, the introduction of universal health-care, the withdrawal from the misguided military adventurism overseas which is costing billions of dollars a week, the regulation of the financial industry, the list goes on and on.
Your problem, my friend, is that you've bought into the whole "voting doesn't change anything" lie. It's a lie that is propagated quite deliberately by the people who benefit most from an apathetic and uninformed electorate. After the last eight years, it's amazing to discover that anyone could have their head so far up their ass that they still believe it.

wouldnt suprise me.... down here during katrina... they "ran drills" at the local jail... what that means is they made the inmates stand there while they hit em with pepper spray, tasers, electric shield, etc... if you resisted

yeah,,, except i havent paid "more money".... hell if i had enough money in the beginning, they woulda skipped all this... its all about paying; i think they want to keep felons down... its real easy to become a felon for a working class individual... if these people cant vote, that is a significant chunk of working america, making it easier for the rich and elite to get ahead and have the "majority vote"...
