The Main-Lining Thread

You guys by chance defoliate threw mid flower when mainlining? Looks like I’m going to have to again, I took a lot around day 25 and it’s jungle mode again at day 37, at this point, I’m just going to take everything that I feel is crowding or hindering my airflow.

Hey how's it going everyone. I've got 5 little girls im attempting to mainline. Due to a nitrogen deficiency early in their life, the first 2 sets of leaves were pretty severely effected. I didn't feel like they were functional enough to support cutting at the 3rd node. So I decided to start on the 4th node. Is there anything I need to do differently since I started at the 4th instead of 3rd node?

I chopped at the 4th last weekend, then waited a few days before I removed everything below. A couple of the girls had teeny tiny offshoots, but they eventually caught up and were big enough to train. Here they are this evening.

Any advice would be appreciated. If working from the 4th node won't work with mainlining, what other options do I have? Thanks for the help, this is only my second grow so I'm still learning.

No. there really isn't anything that changes except the possibility that nodes will no longer be symetrical when at later stages of training. What I do if the wind up in that stage is cut branches that are growing downward and leave branches that are growing upward at every other node until I have 8 tops

So I did my second topping today. 4 out of the 5 were growing nice and symmetrical, one of the Sour Bubbas was a little wonky. Hit them with some calimagic last night with their watering, looks like the beginnings of a slight deficiency on the lower leaves?

So far so good :blsmoke: Working on filling this cabinet space out then flipping to flower. Gave them an ewc top dressing before their last watering and they loved it.

Does anyone here know of a good CBD strain that likes mainlining? I want to get some to help my anxiety. I generally grow in a small tent with 4 lines on each plant.
