try to ask again with a picture, my mainlining is complete, now branches are starting to grow from the 8 main cola nodes, what do i do about them, keep? cut? each node is acting like it's own plantIMG_2674.jpg

they are the same height, these are new branches coming out of the 8 nodes, do i cut/trim them off?
Cut only the ones not making it to the top of your secondary canopy. My 8 colas make up my upper manifolded canopy, my secondary canopy is of all the lower growth that was tall enough to reach adequate light. Some of these can sometimes turn bigger and more productive than one of the 8 main colas. Since following the Nebula Haze manifolding technique I’ve cut out a week over Nugbuckets method and also keeping the healthiest secondary canopy (trimming away lower growth points) I’m still ending up with tons of solid colas, no larf, and super easy drying, trimming, and curing. Check out the current grow of 4 9lb Hammer testers Jinxproof asked me to run. I’ll find out the cross strain at the end of this grow!

Couple pics to be clear. Should those fan leaves from 2nd node have been cut off already? Thought fan leaves from 3rd node should get a little bigger before removing them but not sure.
Also this is 36 days old. Can anyone guess what strain this may be? Its just bag seed. And any idea of how much longer before I start seeing preflowers?

Looks like a nice Kush. What does a stem rub smell like on your clean fingers?

The leaves are fine.

You can pull the manifold branches down further (unless it is a brittle plant)

Cool thanks man. It smells good haha Hard to tell, kinda like pine maybe. The seeds were kinda dark and smaller than usual.
I been moving the string up the nodes. I been pushing down till I feel some tension then tying the string a little before that. Never did any training so trying to be extra careful.

Pine is good! Old school Fallbrook or Humboldt :)

I grew one of the TGA strains and it smelled like sticking your nose right in the mouth of a Pine-Sol bottle. Subcool liked to take the terpenes to the extreme. It was too much for me. I like the pine forest scent much better.

Some plants will snap off. It is usually the young new tops that break off.

Is it common or unusual for mainlines to not grow symmetrically?
I am seeing oddities at the 1st nodes after the 2nd topping like nodes being offset by a good amount and leaves growing from where preflowers come from on more than 1 plant. Are these signs of anything or anything to worry about?
Is there much truth to the amount of stress mainlining causes that you end up with males?
