G'day folks, nice forum you got going here. Long time mull person but first go at growing for personal use. I had a few seeds fall out with my latest purchase. Not realising they were light responsive I just left them in moist tissue the start of August and of course they sprouted. I potted them mid Aug and clearly they think it's Autumn through lack of light and three of the four have gone to early flowering - not a problem. live and learn.
However one of the plants - no doubt through temperature shock is showing sings of perhaps being a hermaphrodite.
Perhaps one of the experienced growers here can confirm it's the case and I'll destroy it.

Thanks in advance.Herm.JPG

yep thats a hermy
Thanks, it's already been shifted 50m from the other three with a building in between. Hopefully it won't now pollinate the other two. Is this the correct move if I'm hoping for a few more seeds?

On looking at photo's online, these look like Indica hybrids to me, perhaps with a bit of skunk as the leaves look quite broad?

We're in the Northern Rivers of NSW so the days are already 22-24c and nights 10-14c. Of the four plants this one is not visibly vegetating much. The second is flowering but no sign of balls, the third is flowering but vegetating nicely too. The fourth is much younger, I started it a fortnight after the other three, It's not showing any sign of flowering. We're now getting 11.5 hours between sun up and down. So hopefully No.4 is another girl and one good plant will do me. I only vape 1.5 ounces annually - purely for medical purposes (insomnia). My needs are not great and I love gardening :)

The fourth is much younger, I started it a fortnight after the other three and shows no sign yet of flowering and we now have 11.5 hours between sun up and down. kill that thing. Hermies are bad and pass on those bad genetics. Burn it stat.

I have some coming from HK. Hopefully it will help germination in my 30ish yr old Dorrigo sativa seeds and other seeds from SSSC purchases in the 80s.
I used it back in the mid 90s trying to make fem seeds, then trying it every which way ending in super vigorous growth on some to completely grotesque elongated others.
Sourced it from a bud shop just outside of melbourne.
Destroyed about 10 plants but it was a good bit of fun.
