Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates. Things have been kind of on autopilot in the flowering tent as I continue to work on clones and need plants. Grean Bicycles SS is working awesome so far!

Anyway, I found some bugs in my runoff tonight... anyone know what these are? I think the little white ones are springtails, if so I am not too worried about them, but there were a few others lurking around in there. No bugs on plants or leaves that I could see, they seem to be living in the soil, or just under the pots? Strange!

Things are coming along great.. but who the heck are they and who invited them? lol

Do they look like these guys?
What are these? It's really hard to say, these are white like the springtails, but the "other" bugs looked to be a little darker, maybe brown, and there was only a few of them... Anyway, here is a quick video update from just a few mins ago...

I'll be posting pictures soon as well, have some from last week I have to go through then tomorrow I will probably do a new set as I am starting week 5.

So I was able to get some video of these critters using my USB microscope. They weren't visible on top, but when I dug a little deeper I found them, eating the grokashi! I topfed the grokashi maybe a month ago, since then I have topfed ocean bounty/compost/basalt (in that order, basically weekly) and then covered with straw just the other day. I am under the assumption that they're beneficial microarthropods and not going to hurt the plants. If anyone thinks otherwise please let me know!

So I flipped my Jinx Proof phenohunt to flower. Most if not all of the plants are showing pre-flowers, but I am having trouble identifying sex on a few. So much so that I am now unsure if the ones I have identified, I have identified correctly lol. I understand that the males will be like balls/spades and that the female ones will eventually show a pistil. I definitely have a few females that are throwing pistils. But I'm stuck on the fence with some of the others. I will post pictures later and see if anyone can give me a hand. But should I even bother? I will probably still stress over it and wait until the sex is more defined. lol. How long do you have into flower until pollen sacks open? Will they open before there are multiple? Does it take a few weeks into flower? I check the plants every day, look them over carefully, and will continue to until I am confident that 100% of the plants have been verified females.

I was also thinking I wanted to keep the studliest male of the group. I don't have another tent I can put him in, but I'm thinking of putting him in our sunroom for a week or two so he can continue to develop and I can collect some pollen. That should work, right? I do have a light I could give him but I just don't have the space really... lol. Hoping my bright idea works, worth a shot regardless.

So here's where I am at...

I know what a female looks like...

Those are really the only ones truly showing. I am pretty positive on a few others, but then there is a few where I can't really decide. Wondering if there are any signs or if I'm just being too conservative.

Additional images in next post.

Gotta be careful with pollen in the house/on your clothes. Otherwise why the hell not? lol

Edit: forgot to read everything and went straight to pics lol sorry

Could you guys tell me what you think? Trying to learn how to tell when they're younger, if I can. In the event I have to let these keep going to be sure, about how long after the first pollen sacks form do they begin to open? Doing my best to separate the known females but I don't have much space...

Bonus question.... what tf is this?

They're not bugs, I checked with my microscope. But they're kinda hard and stuck to plant, don't want to fuck with it too much, almost reminds me of dried shell? I had a couple other weird blobs on a few others, almost like blood/scabs... lol. First time starting from seed, not sure if this is normal, last run was all clones and didn't notice anything abnormal.

Bottom pic has male parts
I was able to identify those three in the first post, I see the random pollen sack on that branch, funny cause that's the only one on there and it's not located on the main stalk. It's the ones in the post above I am curious about. I think I know on a few but wondering what yall think.
