Out of all of it, the NL5/Haze x Hashplant/Sk1 was the clear winner. I had all these genetics back then, but a partner ratted me out after I gave him 500 clones, and they found 500+ more when they got me, and I got charged for growing all of them. Lost all my genetics, and spent time with the feds from 1997-2009.

If anyone is looking for many of these old genetics, some are available, and some are available as hybrids.

Go to AKBeanBrains at JamesBeanCompany. Hes got a shit load, and then go on Instagram, and look up AKBeanBrains, and request a Seed List. Hes got alot more than what that is advertised via seed banks. He will also give way more free seeds, of no joke crosses.
Hes got all kinds of Super Skunk crosses. Pure NL5/Haze from 90s genes. All these are old 80s-90s. Black Domina Pure, and crosses.... PNW Hashplant crosses. NL1, Triangle Kush/NL5 /Haze F2, and other versions. I got the F2. NL5.

He has the Original 80s Sk1 and hasnt had the shit bred out of it, or bad selections. Has only been bred 3x since 1988. Still as good as ever. Nothing like todays version.
McDCormick has these on Preorder until end of Nov.

Not the stuff that nevil, and all of Europe got back in the 80s.
Seattle greg, Greg McCallister gave Nevil a Cross of the Original NL5, but has mistakenly been referred to as NL5 since the 80s-90s. Nevil called it basic 5. Sensi called it NL5. Sensi got all of Nevils genes in 1990.

The version Nevil got was firther crossed with an Afghani, and was a Medium/Smaller plant, as where the Real Deal NL5 is Sativa Dominate.
McCallister says the original NL5 is Swazi x Thai x Mexican X Afgahni. Greg further bred it tto Afghan and is the clone he gave Nevil.

This version of NL5 has NEVER been released to the public.
Greg send McCormick the original genetics so he could breed them, and let everyone have them.

So if you want to get in on some stuff thats legendary, and never released, this is your chance. They will ship no later than April 1st 2021.

that all sounds great nice choices but the basic 5 was the sssc name for nl5 so would a been nevils competition in a way back then lol so nevil didnt call it basic 5 he called it nl5 And i must admit that cross your talking about from connoisseur genetics sounds pretty interesting

You saw Seattle Greg gave Todd McCormick the Original NL5 seeds to grow out, and repopulate??? SG is the original Breeder of NL5.

Nevil actually didnt get the pure NL5 Nobody did.

The pure stuff was
Swazi x Thai x Mexican, and the genes were bred in Hawaii.
Seattle Greg then crossed an Afghan to the Hawaiian and created Northern Lites %. The cut Nevil, and all of Europe got had an extra Afghan breeding mixed in, and made for Afghan dominate plants.
The original NL5 is a BIG Sativa structured plant is what they told me.
Those seeds are on preorder from Authentic Genetics. Buy 12 pack, get 1 pack free. $100 a pack..... But you probably already knew. I wouldnt let these get away.

The guy that still holds the Hawaiian side of the NL5 genetics wants to do a collaboration with McCormick... This version of NL5 has been around since the 70s. Some of the genetics also came from BOEL in the 70s.

Yeah was a Hawaiian thai heirloom strain so ive heard is most peoples guesses
I heard they say nevil had nl2 x nl5 not nl 5 but nevil did get some from a guy in there circle the indian when he couldnt get them from greg nevil made i think he made two trips to usa for the nl and also picked up among other plants hashplant and big bud etc
