I found some Tropical gelato (Tropicana cookies x Project 4516) from Lit farms on neptune seed bank. $200 10 Fem seeds. $35 a seed seemed way over priced for the original variant, this one combines my favorite mother plants. Is it worth it? I'm aiming for a high yeild (500 per m2 kinda deal) indica that wont stretch due to light height concerns and limited space. I dont have acces to low temps in my grow room, I was wondering if those purple hues come through based on genetics not temps or environment.

You got those free tho right, replacement pack after a couple yrs, that the best Rusty story ever, you should mention it more often, not too many would have replaced after that amount of time.
Having said that, I hear great things of the project 4516. It's the mom on ya hemi I think. Gelato 45 x platinum puff should be some good shit. I took a chance on ya hemi x project 4516, kinda of a bx.

I bought the lvtk through greenpoint. The other packs were from his purpleberry bx2 cross that sucked hard.

i should stop buying beans lol. my first year of popping seeds (was just taking clones of of a mom before). I bought about 10 different genetics from several different breeders from few banks like:

I just sampled some of the project 4516 in some edibles...I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the potency. Equivalently prepared edibles using my Captain America OG get me f'n wasted everytime...4516, I barely noticed anything...maybe its just me...I don't think the 4516s had the best conditions this year, but the pheno I tried did have some super dank-a-dank gassy terps/thiols coming off of her, so I expected more...but I guess the nose doesn't tell all.

There is nothing you can do to stop. You will continue to buy seeds until you hit rock bottom, and then...you will keep buying seeds. I keep getting a zkittlez aroma from these 4516 flowers...wonder if that was bred in, or just happened to produce a similar terp profile. The gelato makes sense to my nose too, but that zkittlez flavor is there, especially in one pheno, the other is more gelato 33 leaning (never grown the 45 so I don't know).

It’s rare but it does happen. There’s really nothing to get pissed about. It’s not like the breeder could ensure you had 7 females and 3 males.
I’ve had two packs that were all male in ten years. A 10 pack of Subcool’s Strawberry Daiquiri which was really surprising - I should have asked for a replacement but never got the chance. Also grabbed two packs of the initial MAC release & gave one to a buddy who’s got 3 kids. My pack had only 2 females and one was a runt, while his pack was almost all females. Some of the males were really killer though. And lastly a 5 pack of Lemon G Bx1 was all males. Again I didn’t ask for a replacement. If the seeds had germination or other issues, I’d contact the breeder. But they’re not at fault for regular packs that are male heavy - indeed most breeders would prefer their packs this way.

Why would you ask for a replacement pack? Because you got all males? How is that something the breeder should take a loss on?
Sure it sucks but that is how male female seeds work. Im not trying to come off like a dick but just don't get why people think they assume no risk buying seeds.
