Pro-Trump Lawyer Lin Wood's Claims Against Mike Pence Prompt Calls for FBI, Secret Service Scrutiny (newsweek.com)

Pro-Trump Lawyer Lin Wood's Claims Against Mike Pence Prompt Calls for FBI, Secret Service Scrutiny
Lin Wood, an attorney fighting for President Donald Trump's victory in the 2020 election, raised alarms after he called for Vice President Mike Pence to be at the top of the list of arrests for treason.

Wood, a staunch believer that Trump won the election, has switched his focus from Democrats to Republicans, calling for Pence to resign and face "execution by firing squad" in a tweet Friday. Once arrested, Wood suggested that the vice president would "sing like a bird" and confess to being a "main participant" in the "theft of the election."

The controversial Atlanta attorney's comments sparked people to tag the FBI and Secret Service in responding tweets, saying that Wood's tweets constituted a threat against the vice president.

Under Title 18 of the U.S. Code, threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict bodily harm upon the vice president is punishable by a fine, a maximum of five years in prison, or both.

On Wednesday, Pence is set to preside over the certifying of the results of the Electoral College, as is the role of the vice president. Some supporters of Trump are holding out hope that Pence will refuse to introduce electors for President-elect Joe Biden in key swing states, thereby blocking his ascension to the presidency.

Texas GOP Congressman Louie Gohmert filed a lawsuit against Pence, alleging that the vice president has sole discretion to determine which electors are counted. On Friday, Judge Jeremy Kernodle threw out the suit, saying the plaintiffs don't have the grounds to file it.

People are calling for the FBI or secret service to arrest Lin Wood after he called for Vice President Mike Pence to be arrested for treason over his claim that the vice president stole the election from President Donald Trump. Republicans are planning on objecting to the electoral vote count—a move that has little to no chance of succeeding—and Pence faces pressure to refuse to certify the results. If the vice president declines to publicly commit to rejecting electors from "states where fraud occurred," Wood said he should "resign immediately."

"A man of God would never certify a lie," Wood posted on Twitter Friday. "Every lie will be revealed. Every lie means every lie. Always has. Always will."

Is Stinky going to run, or should I say waddle, it would be a quick hop to his best friends country.

I wonder what is happening with Trump's private jet? The one he would use to run from the UK, but to where? He owes Russian's a half a billion, that we know about and will cost Vlad a trillion if he shows up on his doorstep. He could be accidentally blown from the sky if he enters Russian airspace without the launch codes after January 20th. He won't run from Scotland or any where else until the indictments are ready to drop, but after the inauguration they could fall without warning along with an arrest warrant. I figure he will go to Scotland, Florida is not nearly safe enough and he had better be quick getting out of Scotland when they do. I think he's fucked and knows it, Pence is his only way out and he must have tried to cut a deal with him but had no luck making Pence king for 10 minutes so he could pardon him.

Trump Demands Georgia Secretary of State Change Votes, Violating Both State and Federal Law

Donald Trump is caught on a recorded phone call telling the Georgia Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, to change the election vote count so he can claim to have won. Here are the laws - state and federal - that Trump's corrupt ask seem to violate.

Also, here are some answers to frequently asked questions, like:

Can Trump claim as a defense that his conduct was not knowing and intentional (in other words, is it difficult to prove "corrupt intent")?

How can it be criminal if it is done overtly, expressly ad in the presence of others on the phone call?

Here's my take on all of the above as a former 30-year federal prosecutor who had to confront these and similar legal questions hundreds of times in criminal cases.

They don't want Stinky either LOL, guess he'll have to fly to one of his dictator buddies countries directly.

By inauguration day the new covid variant should be rampaging around the world and air travel will be restricted. They will turn him away from UK airspace ditto for the EU, it might be a mistake for him to go to the EU, there might be a secret warrant for his arrest on crimes against humanity charges and he could end up in the Hague.

Donald has no real friends and his usefulness will be finished on the 20th, he better have alternative means of transportation available after 12 noon on the 20th. If he is impeached, does he lose the perks and prerogatives of being an ex president? He will lose a bunch of them in prison and it will save a ton of cash, it will cost a fortune securing this clown as he flies around the world seeking asylum or playing golf.

he's putting his F430 ferrari up for sale too at a Mecum auction in FL.

sounds like he's bringing cash with him upon exit.
I'll bet they've been shoveling money into offshore trusts since the election. His assets should be seized by spring over tax evasion and money laundering, there won't be much left for the billions in pending law suits.

The big question he has is where to go that is out of Uncle Sam's reach? He might as well hold up used toilet paper as a self pardon in court. It might delay federal justice, but not state justice and I'll bet Georgia is not the only state election law he broke, then there might be state mass 2nd degree murder or manslaughter charges. Of course there are the tax and bank fraud crimes in NY state and the federal charges for individual #1 in the SDNY.

Never corner a rat and you've got a big one in a tight corner now. He's squirming and squealing bigly with 15 days on the clock. As the days tick down his desperation will increase, Donald knows what Donald did and we only know a fraction of it, so far.

that's what i think is so funny. he let his narcissism of becoming Pres get in way of the reality that his business practices/companies/bank accts/etc. would all come under close scrutiny because he moved from the private life to gov't life.
His original plan was to lose to Hillary but he fucked that up too, so it's not losing the election that's got his shorts in a knot. He is worried about becoming America's biggest loser, from the White House to the Big House, from orange make up to an orange jump suit. It will be maximum security time for Donald, he has a large following of heavily armed fanatical terrorist supporters and the judge(s) and the jury(s) will receive hundreds of death threats with each trial, no club fed.

If Donald starts going nuts on Pence in the days before the inauguration, he won't be king for 10 minutes so he can pardon Donald. Trump seems to be holding back a bit on Mike so far, let's see how he treats him after the 6th and the certification of the electoral votes. Mike appears to be Mitch's man and always has been, but we will see, Jesus, Pence or death are the only way out for Trump at this point. Donald doesn't really have a problem with losing, after all his original plan was to lose the 2016 election to Hillary, but he fucked that up too.
I was under the impression that pardons were for people convicted of crimes and as tRump hasn't been convicted of anything yet how can Pence pardon him even if he is so inclined? From what I gather from all the talking heads I've been watching pardons can't be handed out for future convictions.

At least tRump will get his wish. The Best Ratings Ever!, as literally billions around the world will be glued to their TVs and the web watching him fry in the spotlights. lol

:peace:

Iowa Sen. Charles E. Grassley, the Senate president pro tempore, says he and not Vice President Mike Pence will preside over the certification of Electoral College votes, since "we don't expect him to be there."
Let Donald chew on that old piece of shoe leather Grassley is going out to pasture anyway. I don't think Pence is gonna pardon Donald as king for a day or 10 minutes.

Pence is Donald's only way out, he must resign or do a 10 minute temp to make Pence POTUS so he can write his pardon. He will turn on Pence before it's over, the dumb cunt just fucked him, but Pence fucked him back. If the fix is not in with Pence Donald will freak out on him and try to turn the base on him. Donald is in survival mode and is capable of anything, his focus is on retaining power and legal sanctuary.
