this is not Zimbabwe... while devaluing the dollar would be a bad thing...I don't see a ubi doing that. That money would still get put back into the economy. Especially by the lower/ middle class.

Greenhouses don't work with photoperiod plants in winter ... it's a light thing, not a cold thing, everything else takes money so back to square one. I'm not a cannibal like most people I hope.

Greenhouses do work for growing food in the winter and housing animals that produce manure, co2 and heat. It's also possible to capture enough solar during the day to power a small light for vegging photo period plants and preventing them from flowering.
