nothing a few 2x4s won't fix =), plus the landlord gave me and me alone specific access to the attic, another side project he's having me install cameras for the whole building so win/winProlly worth figuring our how they got in there before you, and seal that entrance up extra well. Otherwise you could up sharing your crop with an uninvited mystery future guest.
What kind of cameras are you gonna go with? I just finished setting my system up.nothing a few 2x4s won't fix =), plus the landlord gave me and me alone specific access to the attic, another side project he's having me install cameras for the whole building so win/win
also looks like alot of abandoned trash to clean up ..yay
sweet not sure what brand he's buying I just gotta install the wires and drill a few holesI had Arlo wifi cams before my new wired Zosi system. I got tired of having to recharge the wifi cams all the time, and limited range with wifi too. Plus the web delay with wifi cams drives me nuts. With my new wired system, I just turn on the TV and can see 4 cams at one instantly live on split-screen, with almost no delay. The Zosi system is a bit clunky in terms of the UI, but once you can figure it out, it's a great inexpensive system that also includes audio, which most inexpensive wired systems do not. Make sure and check the specs if you want audio in your cams.
fair enough , but I run HPS , 2 x 600s, only going to add a 3rd, putting me at 1800w which is more then enough for me.If you're going to hire an electrician anyway, you might consider running a 220V line up there too. LED drivers generally run around 4% more efficient on 220V vs 115V, and usually just have change the plug to work on the higher voltage system. It's always nice to have a higher voltage plug whenever possible.
You run HPS for now. Who knows about next year. With a warmer enviro in the attic you might find that switching to 1200watts of LED is a less expensive situation that yields better in the new environment using less power. Just sayin.fair enough , but I run HPS , 2 x 600s, only going to add a 3rd, putting me at 1800w which is more then enough for me.
