'Sounds pretty cool. Can you show or describe your reservoir? Volume? Elevated? Etc...etc....?

I notice your pots are on carpet. No leaks or runoff to worry about?

Do you go through the entire volume of your res. each week?
Hey mate, 60l ish res, has a circulating pump and air stone inside, just to keep things mixed up. on 2 milk crates ( full custom )
There is no run off with this system, no wasted nutes yay
I'm always worries I'm going to find a leak but never have.. touch wood, I make up around 25l of solution once a week at this stage.
I use green planet dual dual 1/2
Green planet rezin
Greenplanet massive bloom
Green planet pro cal

All the feed charts came with the nutes so pretty easy to follow

Time will tell have used mesh every other run, I'm tall so it's a prick getting underneath the netting to tend to all the plants. So far so good.
Yeah I’m a large human it is a pain but I always yield a lot better with a scrog. Quality is still there just a bit light on at the end

Any of you guys ever ran an aquarium wave maker in your res?

Trying one out in my drain to waste res, to help circulate the mix keep solids from sitting on the bottom.

I got a tiny 8w that I keep on 24/7, been really impressed with it, I use to use a small pump on a timer to circulate my mix but this is heaps better. Cheaper and barely uses any power.

I'm using the square 100 ltr containers from bunnings. But they can be moved and positioned a bit so I assume it wouldn't be that bad. it's just a little impellar that can be moved.

You can go on ebay and get cheap chinese made ones, i think I paid like $20 bucks for mine just to test it out.

Very cool idea & glad to know I'm not the only one that gets solids precipitating out of solution & sitting on the bottom of the res.

I'm still not sure if it's a temperature or pH issue, but these things could help keep stuff moving around even if it does happen.

As you would understand, a lot has been deleted, but Saturday was a good night, nonetheless;)

Some people just can't recognise when they're beaten & decide to give up.
Yeah, nah mate! Saturday was fun but work picked up again. Back again soon.

Still trying to figure out what "dusting" is, hope that fellah didn't mean crotch dusting (google it), otherwise you two should get together!

I don't recall that comment. Probably got deleted like a lot of other stuff. Did you keep detailed records for future reference?

I'm sure you don't need to Google it, now do you....Fatima.......? .

After all, it was your alter-ego that taught me the phrase in the first place.

It was a bigger issue when I was using Kelp additives during the summer when I wasn't maintaining ideal res temps for sure.

Can't take personal credit for the idea lol If i remember right i got the idea from an instagram post from the floraflex company where they recommended one for smaller tanks.

Simple deductive reasoning. You post pics of cold climate, that means AFL country. asked you if you liked AFL yeah? You didn't just say no! You had a winge about rugby balls & cricket pitches. 1 + 1 fellah;)
Then your "simple" deductive reasoning (amongst other things) has some seriously gaping holes (pardon the obvious pun...).

1. It snows mostly in NSW, VIC & TAS. Generally only at high elevations. A large geographical area, wouldn't you agree? Australia has more ski-able area during winter than the whole of Switzerland (I got that from a Tally-Ho packet!). 'Dunno how any of that labels me as a Pom.

2. If I was a Pom, would I be complaining about being cold in a typically Australian climate? Probably more likely to complain about the heat....
Have I done that? You would know, of course....

3. AFL is a country-wide blight, not simply restricted to just the South-eastern states. Again, 'dunno how that labels me as a Pom.

4. My disdain for AFL is nothing geographical, nor related to ethnicity. I could be ethnic Chinese & live in Cook Town & STILL not like it. Have you considered that I simply just don't like it?

Maybe I just don't like any kind of competitive sport...AFL, NRL, basketball, horseracing.....greyhounds.....?

None of these would suggest that I'm a Pom.

Frankly, I'm very surprised by your initial question. I would've thought you could simply just consult the extensive "stalking" dossier you've apparently compiled on me & not have to seek any confirmation at all!!!!

Try another form of "profiling", thank you.
