64 Days in flower

Looking at 3-4 weeks probably more. When all the hairs recede and are brown then wait two weeks and chop.
My understanding is that will result in higher cbd production and lower thc? Would i be correct in saying the bud would have a higher thc content, or at least a higher cbd/thc ratio edit: if harvested sooner?

Days in flower do not make the harvest time .

Buds will swell , harden off , pistils will recede and that will be from the plant ripeness not timeline. Each plant runs on its own terms regardless of breeder hype. Most breeders have “ controlled environments to work those lines under optimal conditions “ or outright exaggerate “ general harvest windows “.

Keep going - too easy to cut TOO EARLY than to cut too late.

It all comes down to the type of high you want now man, with my set up they would be done in about 10 days give or take by visualisation, but Yours may differ.

I'd also raise my lights, flush and give them 48 hours of darkness before chop, but there's lots of so called "bro science" and myths when it comes to personal formulas.

This is incorrect. Most cannabis plants do not produce CBD. What you are thinking of is CBN, which is what THC breaks down into as it degrades. HOWEVER it takes a significant amount of time for that to happen. It takes weeks for plants to ripen not days.

Yeah I definitely want some tasty smoke high in thc. Being a newbie sucks. Get so many conflicting opinions.
Don't be confused you shouldn't be listening to peoples opinions. YOu should be looking at the plants and how they are progressing. Here is the basic rundown I share with new growers.

Before even thinking about harvesting take a look at this and see if your plant is actually showing you all these signs.

The signs of ripeness are pretty standard.

First a few of the pistils begin turning color and start receding. Your plant is just starting to ripen. Depending on the strain you could still have two months to go. We're just starting this journey.

Two to four weeks later you'll notice that most of the pistils(>80%) have now changed color and curled back into the bud. It's frosty, way bigger than it was a few weeks ago, and smells dank! It's time, right? Not a chance killer. Patience is a virtue

Over the next 2-3 weeks it doesn't look much different, maybe a little more swelling in the calyxes, and the rest of the pistils change over, but the stems ars starting to bend under the weight of the buds. These ladies are putting on weight and now the buds are doing their final ripening.

Now you begin looking at trichomes, on the calyx not leaves, and harvest according to your preference. When looking at trichomes it’s essential to look at them from the side. The bulbous heads can magnify the opaque stalk under it. Looking from the side allows you to more accurately see the condition of the resin in the trichome head.

There is still no rush to harvest, the window just opened, and you have several weeks before you MIGHT start having to think about it possibly beginning to get too ripe. It takes WEEKS for plants to mature not days.

It is very easy to harvest a plant to early. It is very hard to harvest a plant to late. I’ve never seen someone accidentally wait too long.

Sounds like it. You’re the bro in the shitty science. You’re literally a ball of bad information. Raising lights? Flushing? And 48 hrs of darkness? Do you boil your roots too? my question to to you is do you grow?

Just sharing these beauties. I'm pretty proud for my first go
"All these experts" giving you advice not even asking you, what type of light you have been using or what Strain you have been growing.

You say you are at 64 days, this puts you at the 9 week mark already. Most Og 's will finish between 9 - 10 weeks.

Going "3" weeks longer will be putting you at 85 days. I wouldn't go that long, If I were you. There are many journals on this forum of people that have grown Ogs and Cookies.

A cookie hybrid you Can usually aim around 67 days.

Og Strains 73 day mark 10 - 11 weeks.

Now if this is a Haze Strain I would be going even longer, but the leaves and buds don't look it.

What are you using an LED or Double Ended ?

What are you growing?

What strain he’s growing doesn’t matter and neither does the light really, if the plants not done it’s not done. You can’t quantify a grown into an arbitrary number of days or weeks. You have to look at the individual plants and how they are growing. Plants all grow differently and environment plays a major factor in that, sometimes they take their time. Plants aren’t done until they are done, they don’t grow by calendars.
