It's just some cheap air purifier I got at walmart for like $30. From what I've read they're not harmful to plants but beneficial. I heard that if you have one too powerful in your grow room that not only does it kill all the smell but it takes the taste out of the buds too.

So several weeks ago the tip of one of my buds got burned by growing too close to the light. A few weeks later three separate buds have formed around the old burnt one. Thought that was pretty cool!

cause its a weed... I have noticed that with good soil and water this shit grows awesome.... lol.. i mena sometimes i wonder how bad can you mess up to kill the bitches... but you cant... it just grows like that...lol... Looking good man..

It's starting to come down to the home stretch. I'm a little worried about whether or not the girls will be ready when I need to harvest. I HAVE to harvest by December 7th. If that's not enough time at all then I could possibly wait another week, but that will create a lot of problems for me.

What do you guys think, will they be ready in three weeks? Since I like the energetic high better I was planning on harvesting when the trichs are all cloudy, so I don't have to wait until they're amber.

could be... the 3rd pic is the best to tell anything on the trichs.... Of course it would be better to have a magnifier and all that... but the trichs should have a little of amber look to the bud...kinda like making it golden on the edges...

agreed.. do NOT harvest yet.. harvest once about 70% of the bud is showing redish brown hairs.. I think its a no brainer that they will be rdy by the 7th! Actually, I think if you give these another week to two weeks they will def be rdy.. you should prob leech them and only use water now.. about 2 weeks from harvest I also cut all of the bottom leaves off and some of the top leaves so the plant can spend most of its energy on the bud.. NICE soil grow man.. rock on!

Thanks for the feedback man. I wasn't planning on harvest them now, December 7th is the planned date. Glad to hear you think they'll be ready!

I'm going to be going away for a few days next week and they might get a day or two's wilted, do you think that will drastically affect yield/potency?

Haha thanks boneman. It's not quite as big as the baseball bat, but that's probably because I LST'd them. Next time I'm just going to leave them alone so I get that nice huge main cola!

Hey guys, some crazy shit went down last week. Long story short I had no other choice but to cut the girls down immediately. I cut them down on the 25th, they weighed in at 117 grams. Because of the immediate chop and my need to travel with the finished harvest I used the water cure method.

I tested out a few of the buds so far and it's definitely been some of the best bud I've ever had. It's too bad I couldn't let them ripen a little longer, but I'm satisfied with the results I got in my current situation. Thanks to everyone that followed me through on this! I'll update you guys when I get the dry weight. In the mean time, puff puff pass

It's been a long journey friends, but I've finally reached the end! Because of the water curing all my buds are ready to be smoked. Supposedly they are as smooth as if I had cured them for a month. Unfortunately almost all of the smell and fruity taste were removed in the process, but I have no regrets.

I don't know if I'll be able to grow again for a while, at least not where I live now, but it was fun while it lasted and I hope to do it again some day. Anyways, time to smoke some hard earned buds, see you guys around!

The iPower grow light systems on eBay can be ordered wth cool tubes, air cooled hoods, etc.. pretty much completely custom grow light kits and even the best ones are less than 200$. Comes with a ballast (dimmable, digital 400, 600 or 1000), mh + hps bulbs, hood of your choice (cool tube, air cooled, open "wing, etc.)... I had to have my ballast replaced once but other than that, these lights work fantastic; all of my friends use them too, but I was the only one whom had to get a replacement but the people were very cool about it... they even sent me a new piece of glasss for my air cooled hood because the 1st one I ordered busted during shipping, so they probably lost more money than they made when I ordered a 400 watt kit from them. Their name is 'hpsgrowlightstore'; they have great deals on lights and theyre pretty decent quality in all honesty.
