Terpinator

Fuck this stuff. My 2 cents.

I used this from seedling to chop and I genuinely feel it did nothing for terpene or trichome production. Used Purpinator on another plant from early veg to chop, that has purple-prone genetics, and brought on NO purple, and again seemed to not aid in trichome or terp production.

I wouldn't say not to use it, I just didn't see any benefit from it. Actually, i seem to get way better terp development using GH Floralicious Plus.

The only reason I spouted off was because OPs grow was fried to a crisp. I don't care what anyone uses you don't need to fry a weed. So if you're happy with whatever enjoy it and run your grow how you like it.

It doesn't "make your weed purple", but it is supposed to bring that out in plants that predisposed to doing so. Hence my comment about "purple-prone genetics".

Learn to read the whole comment, bud.

Different process entirely. Although I am the "son" not the "Pop", I'm no kid.
That was a joke there was no offense intended even if you do like using grape kool aid in your grow. I do like kidding but I should be more careful as it often doesn't come across in a text medium. Oh well I'm high as usual new table and all.

If people want purple then they need to grow purple genetics. Using some product called Purpinator is just stupid. Also, in my opinion purple does nothing for the quality of the weed. In fact I think purple weed is inferior. That's just from my experience growing lots of purple plants. None of which required some snake oil product to turn purple. In fact I've spent years breeding the purple trait out of a cross I made using PCK because the less common green pheno is far superior to the purple one in every way.

No snake oil used. Just a product very similar to Jacks 5-12-26. Not a single unnecessary additive.

Oh yes genetics :) I really should dig through all my photos. I have one with bright lime green leaves and that color. That looks like a Pakistani Chitral Kush I've seen. What were the genetics?

Ok again ONE.MORE.TIME. Purpinator doesn't "turn weed purple". It's meant to bring it out in genetics that will already do it. Read THE WHOLE COMMENT, guys.

On that note, GORGEOUS PLANTS sir, damn. I, for one, am a sucker for colors. I do agree though, it might be a lesser effect, but DAMN they purdy :)

I did read the the comment. I'm just saying that you don't need anything to bring out the purple if it's in the genetics. :peace:

Closest resemblance might be albinism in humans. I also believe it's a inferior genetic trait, "green" phenos have always been most potent IME.

Sadly, that's been exactly my experience, it hurts because I love the pinks and purples.
Hey you can always grow both. It's good to know you're not always pheno hunting for potency. Medicinal and felt effect is key, and that may differ widely between us all.

It's a hobby after all and aesthetics play a huge part, but you shouldn't also not be blinded by standards. Some landraces may look like garbage compared to modern hybrids but the unique profile makes it all worth growing. Cheers!

Well said! I still miss the old Mexican Brick Weed we imported, it was very special and very ugly LOL

I mostly hunt for pain relief strains. Which are often conflated with high potency strains but that's not always the case either. This certainly never gets boring, eh?
