Washing buds before drying!!??

Will I lose any potency from my bud if I perform this wash before drying??
Thank you
I do a similar wash on my outdoor. I'm sure some trichomes are lost, but mine comes out pretty good. If you look at the stuff that comes off in the wash, you'll be happy you did it. I don't wash my indoor, but that tent is clean with filtered intake. My outdoor gets all kinds of dust and crap on it. When I do it, I swing the colas around to whip off excess water and spin the smaller pieces in a salad spinner.

Thc is not water soluble. Your buds will be fine. Here is my outdoor wash from last summer.

I wash the outdoor too, no h2o2 or c6h8o7 though, just fresh water.... even in my area with no pollution or fires to contend with they still get dirty and a quick dip really helps

I just did this for the first time yesterday.

they dry off way quicker than I expected. Didn’t seem to clean anything off either but they were indoor so weren’t super filthy.

I'm indoor too.. I want to wash the areas that might still be affected by PM when harvest.. I'm sure I'm not getting rid off it completely till then.. I'm in a war with it this shit sense veg

I always bud wash my outdoor. Clean water > h202 bath > bakingsoda/lemon or lime > final clean water bath. I tip the buckets to skim out the debris.

So I'm struggling with PM as it happens.. Outdoors.. I've sprayed with baking soda solution and 2 days later it came back I sprayed with milk solution. I still have a good 30+ days if the weather cooperates. Trying to avoid getting the Safer's Defender Fungicide or 3n1 spray if I can help it. I know I'm going to need to do a bud wash after harvest. Can you be a bit more specific on how you do yours?
Clean water - tap water? spring? distilled? does it matter ?
Do you dip/swish/spin from one bucket to another consecutively? For how long each stage? What's the baking soda/ lemon or lime ratio to water?

It's been a while and this is my first grow in several years, and the last time I didn't wash. So this is all new to me.

I wash my outdoor buds too, but skip the lemon juice, I just do the h202, baking soda, and rinse. I've also used aspirin water when I thought the bud had a high likelihood of botrytis/pm. If anyone is interested, just google something like "postharvest salicylic acid study" or something similar. They treat grapes with it a lot, among other things, to prevent botrytis once they are harvested. Aspirin is an outstanding preventive measure while the plant is still growing too, I always treat mine twice, both root drench and foliar.

Ok Thanks. For now I'll keep an eye on the PM. I read that the milk solution turns the pistols dark prematurely?
