God regretted making us soon after he did...bc...well look at us...so obviously...we're aweful...hence the flood...but he didn't get us all.

That has obvious flaws, like it conveys an inability to fix something, plus it's not possible for god to have regret, because he can fix whatever he fucks up, but he's all knowing, so he should know when he's about to fuck up and do it right.

Religion/god in any form we think of today is pretty ridiculous. However, if you have substance abuse problems and that's what you need in order to keep from killing yourself and others, then knock yourself out.
