BTW! I've decided Pazzo... That for my sog I'm only using the 4" pots or gallon bags... ready for this? using FFOF Soil!!! Yup, ya heard it... SOIL! I dunno, I'm gettin tired of the hydro system... I'm contantly checking the meter... fucking with the algae, fittings, plumbing, cleaning... FUCK IT! I know hydro is suppose to be quicker than soil... but its not that drastic! I really haven't noticed a differance... Jim? Notcied anything diff yet?

Well for doing SOG grows soil is probably prefered I think. Hydro grows faster in veg., and they both take the same time in flower so really it doesn't matter. If I was going to grow larger plants, hydro would probably be the smarter way to go if time was an issue. Soil is way easier then hydro tho for sure. My buddy was trying to just calibrate is ph meter and I told him I had no idea how to do it cause I don't even check my PH.

I had to go with some 5" pots I found locally cause I didn't feel like spending 50 bucks on 20 pots lol. Hopefully they'll fit in there nice and snug.. i only got like 15"dx24"w. Oh and btw, the 4" pots are only about 1/3 of a gallon so there probably much smaller then those gallon bags.. but i've never used bags before so I dunno.

Very nice, Im going to get one complete bagseed harvest before moving up to big boy seegs lol. Once I get some buds off my little lady it will be a lot easier to justify spending so much for some seeds to my old lady :^P

They stink to high heaven I will be chopin them in less than 4 weeks so I am really fuckin excited and I movin back to my home town where all my freinds are so they can tast the fruits of my labor.

I am so glad you are growing with FFOF next thats what I use it is some great shit. I like soil you get to start fresh everytime. I plan on growing the lowlife Ak and the Afgan kush for my next grow I will probably start the first day of the new year!!! Maybe I will get my freind to take pics and I will start a grow journal. I've never used FFOF before... what kinda nutes should I look into getting? I'll be cloning in 1" Rockwool cubes and transfering them into soil when they go into flower...

I've actually always used MG soil beleive it or not.. but i'm hoping I can find some better soil locally for my current grow. I've always used the Pure Blend Pro nutes and they've worked great, especially the bloom for soil (1.5-4-5). I've started using fish fertz for veg. tho and that seems to do the trick, just can't over do it. I've read of a lot of people just sticking with the fox farm fertz though when they go with that soil, so you got lotsa choices.

I use Earth Juice Grow, Bloom, and Catalyst for nutrients. Earth Juice will really mess with your PH it drops it way down. I like them because they are very cheap. You can always continue to use the Fox Farm nutes they are great too.

Looks like I am going to have to harvest a week early hopefully it doesnt affect the yield that much. I cant do anything about it anyways I am so diapointed I really wanted to see these russians grow to there full potential. Sucks too cause the russian is sold out on attitude so I had to order the AK.

Aight... Missed a feeding/watering schedule so I caught it fairly quick but the leaves got all droopy... but they've shot back up and are not lighter green and has started some browning/blackening not on the edges, but in the middle of the fan leaves!

Got my new seeds in today (The BigBangs are smashed! Bastards!) and gonna start to germ them soon.. just trying to decide when... prolly in a day or so... maybe tonight... so I have enough time to veg a few moms and clone them so by the time the WR's are ready I can slide the clones right in!

I got those 5 free G13 Power Skunks that I'll prolly just germ and plant 2wks before the WR's harvest and then slide those in as well since I'll prolly get more with my next order once I decide which of these 10 strains I really like.

I'm gonna Clone them when they're ready and flower a few of them at a time just to see their characteristic traits while flowering to determine which strains are worthy of my sogs with dominant colas... which I'll prolly end up experimenting with lollipoping them too to eliminate as much branching as I can! If I like'em... I'll collect more clones from them... if not.. I'll just flower them and thank them for their services!

Welp... here's what I plan to do... I'm gonna pick up some Shultz and hit the bastards with that then follow through with some neem oil to prevent it further...

Sound like a good plan?

Yeah Man! It really pisses me off!!!! I've never had them before on any plant i've grown... and here they are... I think before I do anything I'm gonna consult my local hydro store guy!! If he doesn't have a sure fire way.. then I'm gonna have to take drastic measures!

I figured will all the bleached I used this wouldn't happen!!! I cleaned tthheee fuck outta that room!!

I also assumed with as many growers as there are that someone would have a solution to it!! But it seems like everyone only has Theories!!!

* Spray with a specialized mite spray in the recommended dosages. There are several products available from any garden centre, the active ingredient to look for is "DICOFOL", it kills mites, and you'll never see one for 3 months end of story. One hit is all that is needed, I've never had a need to re-spray-- this stuff has residual killing ability.

Sucks to hear about the spider mites I have never encountered those bastards before. I too am plaged with bad news, because of this corporate takeover I have to relocate sonner than I thought and I will be choping my russians next wendsday. They are so beautiful and I see the potential they have I am so depressed over this. I will still harvest and bring them back to smoke with my freinds, after that I will start Lowlife Auto AK.
