If this thread does not stop soon, I think I will go downtown to the tallest building, take the elevator to the top,jump off and then slit my throat as I fall!!! Please let it end!!!!!
 
i think homeboys too young and dumb with 5k to spend while asking questions. research. start small . u can always get bigger. and u prob will. but atleast the mistakes wont be as neckbrakeing.

This is not my first grow, this is a new house with a new budget. I was planning on running big lights, veg room and flowering room, veg to 18" lollipop and put into the flowering room.

Iv decided to ditch the darkroom tent and just run bigger fan/filter.

Im going with 4 600w and 2 1000w each in 60" cooltubes.

Im going to put the 1000w dual cooltube in the middle and the 2 600w dual cool tubes on either side. This way I can start off with just 2 600w and 2 1000w and as I need it I can use more, eventually the new plants to flower will be on the outsides, the bigger plants later in flower will be in the middle right under the 1000w.

I just made the thread because I am making a large purchase on new lights, filters and fans, and I wanted to make the right choice before making a final decision.

Thanks to anyone who was helpful and many were, going flat is reliable and I wont have a bunch of issues with building a setup.


I dont know why so many people get mad, post off topic comments, claim that I dont know what Im talking about or that Im trying to get attention? I dont know, maybe jealousy that all you got is 2 plants in your closet?

What annoys me about you, is that you make a thread asking for advice and then you don't even listen to anyone. People take the time to try and give decent advice and then you don't even comment on it. It's pretty funny that you're so oblivious to it all though, imho.
 
All I have to say is please please please make a grow journal with lots of pics when you get this going. I would love to watch this abortion day by day as it snowballs toward it's ultimate end. I wish you luck on your power bill. I know I've been a dick in this thread, but please don't burn your house down. Good luck. By the way, you do know that volksgardens are hydroponic, right? you said you didn't want to build a hydroponic system. If you don't want to build that, your gonna hate putting that bus of a system together.
 
Yes I know the volksgarden is hydro, I have commented on the people who have posted useful threads, and there have been so many people who have useless negative comments, what do you expect? If your gonna pick through and post quotes you seriously got nothing better to do.

The funny thing is all you people who are flaming this thread have no experience and are just going on and on either out of jealousy or the fact that they are so uptight because all they can grow in is a 2x2 closet.

I have space and money so I am going for a big grow, if any of you who make negative comments had any real experience you might have something useful to say.

You truly are the most oblivious person I've come across on this site. You make these incredibly stupid blanket statements, like the one above, and then you have no clue as to the real reasons that people are flaming. Some of the people flaming (because of you) actually have lots of experience. You just refuse to open your eyes! It's so frustrating dealing with people like you.

i think you should go to walmart and buy a 6 pack of 75 watt incandescents and grow 300 plants under them....you should pull like a million pounds dry.lol
 
$4500 later and I now have my flowering room, 4 1000w hps in cooltubes,
7000btu ac/dehimidifier, fans and filters and all the other bullshit. Growing flat, mothers are about a foot tall in the veg bathroom, few more weeks and I will be starting the first flower in the new room.
