No.. it was the way SQ788 was written in the first place.. Im just saying that every State should write thier ruling to require 100% 5 year residency to fire up a business. The 25% out of State ownership that we have has really fucked up a good thing.
I don't disagree that locals only helps prevent problems, but that commerce clause is solidly in the grey area though, article doesn't say much about commerce clause but I feel lawsuits about it push states to open up. Good that OK didn't open their market up more on constitutional grounds. MO has a regional and numerical limit on licenses still so it probably wont go too crazy in the mean time, I think their application process is still shut down for covid/lawsuits, not sure anymore what the current news is there.

Here's how the "out of Staters" do it... they find a new State thats about to come online, they find a business to partner up with in that fresh State, they make a lot of money for 2 years, and then the market gets super saturated, and then they move on to the next State that's about to come online. Im sure the 25 percenters will move on out of here soon, and that will help regain some demand and prop prices back up.
I don't think that is going to be model here as our licensure is way more limited that yours. Of course with national repeal maybe all bets are off and that's the a race to the bottom on steroids.

This market is moving at warp speed, it's effin crazy.

I was up in MO recently and saw some new signs popping up. They're everywhere over here. There must be 10 dispos within a mile of me.

I'm in OKC visiting family a few times a year, it's a free for all down there compared to here. Hell I'll go so far as to say it's a free for all in just about any context, lol.

It's gaining traction here finally and I think we're starting to see prices start to come down a bit but 1/2 g vape cart is still like $70. Eighths are $60-ish.

Not everybody is online yet though. The company my buddy works for is still trying to get their grow finished and signed off on. I think they may have some financing problems as well as the slow state administrative process.

Covid and lawsuits about says it all IMO. Our main problems are the legal fallout from a seriously flawed licensure procedure and since our gov't doesn't get a general fund tax boost an unfriendly administration.

We're talking about a recreational initiative at the midterm that I think has a chance of passing as Roy Blunts seat is opening up and we could see a higher more progressive turnout.

You too brother! A line is moving towards Chickasha.. It may move just north of me, but fuck, this is Oklahoma.. back building is always a possibility. Hail to baseball size moving along with this storm. Front winds now at 112 mph.
Looks like you got more your way tonight. Prayers for your family's safety. If you see any enormously large plastic sheets and PVC flying by keep your head low and dont wrapped up in it you may wake up in Kansas ...or Oz ;)

I talk to people all the time from other states and countries and they always freak about tornadoes getting all panicking and looking for a place to hide. I just kinda laugh a little and tell them "Hell we are from Oklahoma. Okies dont hide from Tornados we go stand on our front porch and film them with our phones to post on youtube"

I have been researching suppliers for Worm Casting's & Seed's to buy
in bulk and save some money. Check out these two company's
are located in Oklahoma. Anyone purchased from them?
