If it were me.... Id approach it like this. Go pay your rent, start up a convo about people in the building doing personal grows and see what kind of feedback you get. This will give you an idea of how they feel about it. If they are open to "rules" to growing in the apartment, then ask if you could do the same.

...... IF you get absolute negative feedback, then you know where you stand at least. ..then Id prob not attempt it. You can find yourself in court over that shit, even if it's legal because you don't "own" the apartment, and you gotta follow the rules.
