Co2 during flowering

What’s your take on co2 levels during flowering stage ??
People say 1500ppm around 85F allows plants to flourish more.

BUT

there is a caveat with Co2.

Are you running a fully sealed environment? - if your answer is NO it’s pointless running Co2 as you’ll be buying Co2 and then just exhausting it out of your room anyway.

are you thinking about the Co2 bags? If the answer is yes then in all honesty save your money.

take old stale air out and bring in new fresh air (not recirculated from within the room with the grow in it is all most people need.

the biggest thing anyone can do is perfect their environmental control of Temp RH and air exchange and learn how to feed properly.

I have a grow not fully sealed. I find my self going through co2 frequently if I’m lucky it’ll last a week.

In a cold part of the world, sealed and thermally insulated will save a shit load on heating, adding Co2 in that case makes sense. If the environment is warmer and continues low venting is possible, I don't see the point in co2 in those situations. I think most people do it because they think it makes them pro, but when you really add in the cost to run co2 in the wrong environment it just looks stupid. Often the excuse is ''my electric is cheap'' to scape goat the complete inefficiency of their over all energy usage per gram of dry weight.

More plainly put, is 2gpw at 4kw avg consumption per grow better than 1.3/5gpw with 2kW avg consumption?. Co2 bottles will ofc have a carbon footprint of some sort, it will indirectly up your W usage as it has to be manufactured, using W.

Depends what way you like to look at things.

There’s a chart that shows the efficiency of CO2 ppm and temperature correlation. If you use the chart appropriately and abide by it with the correlation of temperature/humidity & ppm then you can use CO2 to your advantage.

You need to fix your environment and dial things in before using co2. Your room doesn't look very sealed. The shiny tin foil looking shit needs to go as it creates hot spots and flat white disperses light better. Your temperature on the wall said 56 degrees and 40% humidity which is way off and you don't have the par to use anymore then thing more then co2 slightly above ambient amounts no more then 600ppm for your setup.

Lol It’s called a temp/ Rh controller shithead. That is Mylar by the way idiot
Once you get under 60 degrees roots begin to go dormant. Mylar( tin foil lol ) is by far the stupidest option. Flat white has been proven to disperse light better than that shiny shit. Your lights aren’t able to support your co2 level and it won’t do much either if you cant get the temp up at least 85 degrees. Your plants all have issues nutrient wise which is obvious. Fix your shit before giving advice.

Can you show us the proof? I’ve seen different, and the reason I went with the diamond mylar.
Diamond Mylar here too. Although the one I’ve got it’s pretty thick around 2mm i think although there’s not a mention of Mylar in the “diamond reflective film” I purchased lol.

U don’t have a clue what ur talking about when it comes to my plants. I stress them out in various ways to promote trichome production. By the way I Ran a side-by-side with CO2 and without C02 with the same LEDs and my yields almost doubled. I don’t need to listen to a hater like you because you’re having a bad day. Go take your PTSD somewhere else

Yea I took the pic when the light flipped on that’s why the temps so low. I don’t waste money on CO2 if my environment isn’t dialed in. My plants are more than healthy so obviously the temps are dialed in.
More than healthy?

Sorry but those plants are certainly not “more than healthy”.

The colours alone that they are displaying are proof of that.

Really not being harsh just honest!
