I’m aware it’s a bit lacking on watts, however I’m just trying to show what it can do in a 4x4 tent, since it’s the most common tent bought. Hopefully it helps new growers, When deciding on a plug and play setup. At 480 W it's going to be a bit shy of the low end of optimal for a 4x4 tent. It'll get you to harvest but not with the best results. GL.
I have gorilla glue x animal cookiesLight looks good, what strains?
I have zero doubt in the light, I’m sure it will fare well for me.Light will be fine. If we go from the par maps youre going to want your buds to stay between 12-18 inches from the light. If you have a even canopy and keep all bud uncovered, you should be able to drop that light 12 inches from the top and penetrate good down 10 inches. So from top of bud to 10 inches down on each branch. shave them south of that. Wont run as good as a 600w would in the same space but wont be a slouch either.
Yeah i dont get some responses. I mean less then a year ago this forum was packed full of people running Spider farmer 4k lights in 4x4 tents all over the place. And 10 years ago we were doing this same thing accept with T5s. They didnt penetrate as far as LED but we could set them right down to a half inch from the bud. It was a little over 400 watts and done right in a scrog in a 2x4 space you could almost hit 1 gpw with it. The good ole days. LOLI have zero doubt in the light, I’m sure it will fare well for me.
Sorry for your loss buddy.Ok folks. So what happened here is I had a family member pass, and I let things go like crazy. plants went Unmaintained and they were not flipped to flower so now I have a super full tent I flipped them a week ago now and they are starting flower now. I will update here to show how the light preforms
Thanks man. All in all I’m pretty confident it will still end in a nice run. After all it’s just a hobby for me. Plants were abused but they came back around with a little love.Sorry for your loss buddy.
Life sometimes takes the front seat and we have to deal with it. Plants can always recover. I'm sure you'll do fine in there with that light gl
You know what you're doing, I'm sure you'll get what you need out of it. There's ways to maximize the potential of that light just maybe your outer edges might lack a bit. People always forget about reflection off the tents. It raises the par by a fair bit. Just keep that main growth area under the footprint and keep the outer edge minimal. Thanks man. All in all I’m pretty confident it will still end in a nice run. After all it’s just a hobby for me. Plants were abused but they came back around with a little love.
