when cooking for weed butter, is it ok to use fan leaves or should i use the leaves coming off the bud? tryin to make these weed brownies.

clippings are the MUCH SMALLER leaves coming out of the bud correct? they have the crystals on them whereas fan leaves do not?

i am leaving some leaves on the plant when i hang it upside down and dry, then they flake off when they dry out....should i cut them off before i dry the plant when they are still fresh and use them?

yah clip all that garbage in the last pic...tighten up the bud, and make butter or hash. the fan leaves are the bid ass ones by the nodes, but there can be a few in the bud...if it has a big stem, rip it. if not, clip it.

ok so to sum it up...

do not use fan leaves, use what i called bud leaves or trimmings with some crystals on them.

is it safe to say, If the leaf isn't sticky don't use it?

clip the leaves/trimmings/leaves with crystals on them (are these crystals the thc or trichomes?)

and do this before i dry the plant...

not yet, hope to know soon, i am about to cut those leaves off the buds and tighten it up like you said, then i will look on thie forum for an easy recipe unless you got one already

If you have fan leaves with trichomes on from defoliating in flower i wouldnt dry them i i would just decarb them straight away and then use them to make butter but you will need alot as its probably about 2% thc at a guess

Use a thc eddible calculator to measure your dosage.
