Well known from different forums and stuff….. I was like OMG …. I had to shot him an email…. Lol…
Ya Scott's a cool ass guy. I'm not bothering him right now I know they're super busy getting ready for spring. But he has that business to run amongst the tons of other shit he he does daily like the show, this guy deals with some big farms too, but he will take the time out of his day to bs with a guy with 1 plant about his grow, idk he's pretty badass to me, love the way they do things and their philosophy. And you can't even tell he got he got his entire face smashed in with a tree and now has it as a baseball bat Lol. I also used to live in Northern Michigan. There is some snobby nectar growers but mostly all love. Giant family of us trying to help eachother achieve a common goal

I feel like i need a better led for this. I'm willing to spend $1000 on it. I can't take this marketing and all this research on lights that I don't know what true good or bad I gotta get rid of the HID it's too hot so I will have 3 Leds Mars hydro ts1000 for seedlings, Mars hydro fc e3000 for veg, and the best brand led I can get for a 3x3 flowering tent. So I'm gonna have 3 tents all set up to close to perfection. This way I will be harvesting at least once every 2 months it's going to keep me busy. What's a really good LED light for flowering in a 3x3.

Alright I did my tea day and left the photo+ out. Trying to follow the less is more principal.

Small world, Thank your wife for me!

Gamma is a bit confusing to me. I know it’s kelp but I do find it slightly alarming regarding the heavy metal report I saw of BK. I’m sure the kelp is a main contributor to the heavy metal.

The main upside to living in LA is I have access to a ridiculous 2nd hand market in grow equipment. Everyone and their mother tries to set up a massive grow op and fails for one reason or another. I got two HLG 550v2 r specs for 200 each. HLG is currently (free of charge) sending me a new power supply to fix a 600v2 R spec I picked up off a questionable person for $35. If only you were closer, I’d trade one of my lights for bottles and soil.

Where can I get more info on this eon line? I don’t want to derail a nectar thread but anytime I try to search for eon users all I find are post by bubba.

I’d be interested in trying their sample pack for fun and to compare results. I like the idea of having the product be dry so I’m not shipping water around, and less bottles is a welcoming idea. Now on another note, what the hell is with the 10-15 minute stir time? Is culturedbiologix silently partnering with the stirricane? Anyone have a rough idea how long the eon sampler will last? I.e. how many plants could I take from seed to harvest before I need to invest more in the line?

im definitely grabbing their classic sampler for $12. I can at least get a few ez brews out of it and try all their other interesting products.

Those post are me…..lol…… 1 pound of Eon last us 6 months with 18 plants total so far…. Don’t know if the samples are 1 pounders tho… but I’m upgrading to 4 lbs … before price of that any everything else goes sky high . With the 10-15 mix is , first you mix them all then u can let sit for that time then if your a jug or what not , shake it again or just do a quick mix right before u feed….. so stir when u are mixing , let sit for 10-15 min stir again … last store you want to use the ph lush to get the ph inline …

I’m suprised it’s hard to find more people give it a try. They’re already a reputable vendor in the industry. So I don’t know the size of the samples, other than the ph lush is 120ml. So if I follow the feed chart the PH lush will last 10 plants with a 12week schedule. That seems pretty good to me. I’m going to get myself the samples.

so essentially it needs to sit in the water for 10-15 minutes for everything to come back alive and fully saturate the powder? That seems reasonable and the perfect amount of time I need to smoke before I start the watering.

So on this thread I'll be doing an All cultured biologix grow and a nectar for the gods grow. I'm gonna have to pay my electric bill now so I have to ditch my 400 watt HID☹. Right now I have a Mars hydro Fc e3000 and ts 1000. I feel I'm gonna have to upgrade. Oooor I may just shorten my veg times so I can Harvest est quickly and get more if a variety. I want to do a perpetual grow but stay under 1000 watts of led.

I'm going to use the dimmers on my lights and stagger them (raise or lower them) as I grow to save power. I'm just wondering, let's say a 1000 watt Led running at 100% for 18 hours a day, how much would that cost$$$$$?

No idea…. Lol….. but in veg you want to use less , don’t want to be at 100% at an 18/6 …maybe 50% most or maybe lower , cause that’s a lot of light for 18 hrs …. More hours less the strength ….. that’s why in flower your 100% at 12/12 light cause it’s less hours … even then I’m not at 100% till I see pom poms form ….I only use 400w….

I’ve been playing the same game with my power consumption. I’m in a 100year old house that needs a full panel upgrade. Unfortunately I rent.

Im on a 15amp breaker. So if I run a 1000W light + my exhaust fan I have to be careful of running anything else on the same electrical Line. 15amp = 1500watts but please don’t max out your breaker for safety- or you may break your breaker and cause your fans and lights to turn off until you realize it went out

You can easily find out how much your electricity cost through your past electric bills. Usually they tell you the cost per kWh. I live on the extreme end of living expenses. In feb I paid 25cents per kWh (1kWh=1000Watts). So if I’m running a 1000W light for 18hr’s a day I’m spending $4.50 every day just on my light. Do realize that you will pay more depending on the season. Where I live, I get charged more for electricity during peak hours. I do not run my lights from 4-9pm so I can pinch a few Pennies. I have young kids so I can’t get into my garden until after bedtime anyways. I’m a moonlight gardener I suppose
I’m running two 600W lights + 2 exhaust fans + 3 basic fans. This is not including my garage interior/exterior TV and a small pool filter. I do this by having my pool filter turn on when my lights turn off. One of my 600W LEDs does not exceed 50% on the dimmer. However, I’m sure even at 50% it’s hitting 400W.

My LEDs are quite powerful. I can veg at 50% at 24” height. When I flip to flower I will keep it at 24” height and transition to 100% power output. I’m really enjoying the dimmable LEDs because I feel like I have more control over my footprint.

I was able to get a cheap PAR meter (more so a lux meter that does that math conversion for me) so I am able to feel more confident that I’m hitting the right numbers my plants need.

I ordered samples from culturedbio. I’m excited to give it a try.

There's a couple brands at the dispensary I really like Woodward. I mainly only get carts. My guy that grows with nectar has just as good quality as I've mentioned Before. Zips for 180-220.

I'm glad I grew this strain. I definitely recommend it. Afteretti v it sit it's getting better. Also after trimming the bud looks red. Like it's covered in curly red pubes.Lol

That’s similar to what I’m paying. If I go through a Dispensary it’s hard to actually buy an once at a time. Only mid to low quality stuff is sold in 7g-1oz. The actual real medicine will hit you at 40-70 an eighth and then throw 30% on top for taxes. It’s painful, I’m really hoping my first harvest is decent quality. Spending all this money on my growing equipment + keeping enough medicine in the house to keep us going is a lot to juggle.

My wife and I stick to just flower as our main medium for thc. If everything goes well I’ll probably look into hashish and rosin presses for the fun of variety. When I was a kid I did some butane extractions but I’m more interested in getting the full medicinal properties out of the bud nowadays and less so the toxins.

Hello all,
Ive been using NFTG for 9 months now with mixed results. I really like the potential of the line but keeping a reliable PH in the soil has proved nearly impossible for me. I run something between the Greek and Roman regimen.

I am running 4 feminized Purple Rock Candy's from Nukeheads which is primarily an Indica. They have been flowering in my attic for 5 full months and are just now beginning to show colors like they're coming to the end. Unfortunately the buds are underdeveloped. I gradually ramped everything up, including the Bloom Khaos and was delivering it at 15ml / gallon. The plants have become leggy long and branchy. The buds are underdeveloped.

Im using tap water that currently runs about 7.5 which I de-chlorinate and adjust. My PH is almost always in the low 6's when I check the soil. I even purchased Chimera to raise the PH but I guess I dont know how to use it because as a top dressing it did nothing to raise my soil PH.

For the last week I have been feeding as much as I ever have trying to get the buds to fatten up. In addition to NFTG I also use organic fish emulsion. For a week Ive been feeding 1500 PPM (every other day) at 6.7 to 6.8 and there isnt a thing happening with the girls. Check the PH of the soil... 6.2 WTF!?
Knowing that this is a problem I water at high 6's and still end up with very low PH in the soil.

I cant be the only one! Impossible to keep the PH up. If I add Photo-Plus the PH will drop into the basement. How do people manage this reliably?

Below is a pic of a cutting. Im turning her into "Bug Juice" cause she isnt worth shit as bud.
This has proved to be a very frustrating nute line for me. What the hell am I doing wrong?Cutting 1.png
Theres no there there. All leaves and stems
