Posting for a friend. His plants are in 25 gallon pots and it’s been hot. He’s been watering twice a day, I told him to cut back on water.

No. No spraying , i give him a compost tea i make every 15 days, soil drench not foliar. These are a friends plants. He told me he’s been watering twice a day in the heat. I told him to back off the water and let them dry out.Looks like burn or something.. did you recently spray anything on it?
Are they under anything? I have mine under green house plastics and if I get rain/water pools in spots I've had the sun shine through the water and burn some leaves that look like that.Original

Not yet. They are a friends plants. We’re in north central Oregon. Usually throw up a PVC high tunnel the second week of Sept or when we hear there is a good chance for a soaking rain.Are they under anything? Hard to get comprehensive info. He was overwatering earlier in the summer and I noticed he was watering the same amounts in a fabric grow pot as he was a half wine barrel that only had two small drain holes. He got some root rot, but we caught it in time.Topic: Any ideas on these pics?
My Ideas: Need more information. Doesn't look good.
