CFL sockets?

Where did everyone get there light bulb sockets that go directly into an outlet?
I looked at my walmart and couldn't find any around the light area.

i found them at walmart and lowes homedepot and their is a y adapter that u can get to double up on lights more watts good luck

I didn't know there was such a thing. I was just looking tonight for lighting stuff at Lowes and Menards and didn't see anything like that.

if you cant spend 200+ on a light then home depot if your best friend buddy i promise they have everything Y adapters t5's big cfl's fuck they even have HPS and MH bulbs if you wanna ghetto rig some shit up

It's true!

check out my grow, i use Y splitters with socket to plug adapters and they work like a charm

Going to check homedepot tomorrow, no loses around here but I will try own.

but i just added 2 of these im about to get a y splitter and then change all of those lights to these so ill have more watts in ever bulb and 12 bulbs instead of 7 ( i have my humidifier plugged in) incase you think im high as hell and cant do math

Home depot sells everything you need for cfls. Ballasts for hid lighting is another story.

walmart sells sockets they are just not put together.. but way cheaper than the clamp lights w/reflector or home depot.. its just two pieces the socket and then the plug part you wire them together (very easy) and boom you got your cfl holder and you could also add the Y socket all together with Y socket its about 4 dollars.

Yea, I saw that as well. 1) I didn't want to mess anything up with wiring and cause a problem - I have very old wiring in the house. 2) The clamp ones were only a couple bucks more and gave me a lot more versatility.

It will look ghetto, but I think I am going to skip the plug in sockets and get a few more clamp ones. Then run a few push in place type curtain rods and clamp the lights on.

yep cfl's arent THAT bad i had them to far away.. added 2 and put them about 1-4 inches away from my plants and i can see a dramatic change already

Found everything I needed at Homedeopt.

Its about $1-2 for the Y and the plug socket. I would rather steal the next few when I go back. Way too easy to put in my coat pocket.

yeah but its sad when u have to steal light fixtures what are you gonna do about nutes and stuff? if you do decide to steal it i hope your grow goes good but the weed suck or you get all males
