Flushing before harvest is Bro Science!

If flushing does anything at all, it can't be detected by 99% of people smoking it. It certainly doesn't add weight, frost or terpenes. Regulations, which tend to be ultra strict, aren't calling for it as a way to cleanse the plant from toxins or whatever. You're saving a few dollars in nutrients and pushing your plants out of a healthy state, is about it.

Personally i think it's difficult to argue with a blue lab truncheon... No one can argue with facts.

Eta...I wouldn't listen to me I'd test it for myself, go on test for yourself and know 1st hand.
I'm not really sure what the argument is anymore. Your plants use nutrients. If you prevent that, your plants start to die. I don't understand how doing that makes the bud better in any way whatsoever.

Let me explain...
Only when they're ready do i give them water 3-4 days then chop them.

The nutrient traveling around the plants system cannot evaporate, the water evaporates leaving mineral behind, 4 days of water appears to be enough time for the plant have used up what was present in its vascular system.

I find it funny when non-growers give me credit for a proper flush because of the taste and white ash. This has happened a few times now. I don't even correct them. Who am I to throw a monkey wrench into a well oiled placebo?

I'd like to see results of the runoff sent to a lab to be analyzed. I'm not even going to pretend to know what chemistry is happening in there.

And what's that do for the buds bud?

Yeah me to also, and i can't pretend to know either i can only use my best judgment.
A blue lab truncheon isn't aware of the dispute on the subject so I'm happy to use it as a guide.

I agree for the most part but it did make me randomly think of the old Colombian growers etc and girdling also the farmers in northern Afghanistan there plants are for hash of course but when u see them just before harvest they been starved and barely watered and its late autumn to december too so be colder at night dont get me wrong i aint recommending any of these practices i mentioned but its food for thought at very least and as i always say with flushing as the debate turns to a shit show on here more often than not just try both flushed/unflushed and see what you prefer whatever suits you go with it how many threads on here are people arguing for or against
