AOC is a hack. What has she done other than run her mouth and pose in fancy gowns for photo shoots? My extremely liberal Niece lives in her district and voted for her. Now she hates her. Says she's a worthless piece of garbage. That sentiment is apparently shared by many that voted for her. AOC is another 2022 beneficiary of the Republicans running complete nutcases. They ran Tina Forte a crazy qanon, trump loving, conspiracy freak. Had they ran someone like an Adam Kinzinger AOC would would no longer be holding that House seat.
Kinzinger is going to announce.

it is her choice, and people pay attention to those choices. she's fucking doomed...this will be her last term as a senator, she'll get some speaking engagements after this, and then slowly fade into the obscurity she deserves...she'll probably run a moderately successful company of some kind, but she's done as a politician.
I wonder if the LGBTQ lane in her district ever saw any accomplishment from her? Biden, yes..but her?

God Bless President Biden for Codifying Same Sex Marriage and it's benefits in all 50 states no matter what.

annually since 2007. What is the Smart Devices legislation implied in your use of capitals?

Because it's a point in time for me..for us. Normally referred to as Smart Technology..SMART is an acronym as you know.

The SMART framework provides the framework for setting clear, attainable goals in project management. The acronym stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound.

Although not the same, I revert..just like car sales.

Oh, I found it.

You seem to like looking at the past through the eyes of the present.

What is your current view on the age of consent and civil rights legislation? Still from the past no doubt?
I like looking at things how they are, rather than how I'm told they are by people who use "appeal to authority" type (il)logic as a rationale.

Speaking of things from the past which persist today...My current view is people and systems that violate consent when none is actually given, are doing it wrong. I've held that view for a long time.

As far as age of consent goes, it's really hard to believe legislation on that topic, because the people that make those laws can't even agree amongst themselves what the age is. Things vary from state to state, country to country etc. They can't all be right, can they?

Also those same governments which claim they know it's bad to violate consent (it is) and say they can accurately predict the magical age people gain the wherewithal to consent, routinely violate the consent of everyone in their respective claimed geographical areas. Isn't that ironic? Yes, of course it is.

Anyhow, my personal bias regarding what is appropriate is hard to ignore, but it doesn't grant me rights to prevent two people who can consent to an association from doing so. If they can consent and do, it's none of my business.

Civil rights? I don't think rights come from government, if they did, they should be classified as revokable privileges and not as rights. As in "master said it was okay for me to travel, because I have a drivers license".

I like to judge people (individuals) on the content of their character not on the color of their skin. I'd certainly never force two people to associate if one or both didn't want to, that would be a violation of consent and I don't like that kind of backward thinking. In that circumstance I don't care which race the people involved are.

How do you feel about consent, are you okay with some people being able to violate consent and get away with it ?

the hardware are smart devices. No caps.

When is the point in time, and what watershed event marked it? I am unaware of one, since their introduction was followed by a longish interval when a minority used them. So I’m curious how you assign the day or moment.

Now how did this thread get into 'consent'? Nope you're not gonna do it, Rob:hug:

This thread is about someone who pretended to be a Progressive to get into The Club.
