Just some advice, it's better to plant in small coconut pot before transferring to the bigger pots. Ive never had any problems, and neither should you.

Hi OP.

i browsed your thread.

1. your cfl's are not too close like mentioned by others

2. your underwatering your seedlings.

throw that spray mister too one side. now water that pot untill water runs outta bottom. you should'nt need too water now for around 4-6 days. poke your finger into soil. if the first inch of soil is dry you need too water again. DO NOT feed them seedlings with ferts for a good 2-3 weeks they carry thier own food source for the first couple of weeks.

a even betetr way is take note of the weight of your pot when its been watered picking put up slightly wil give you an indication if pot needs a refill. pick up pot too judge its weight. a dry pot will feel very light so needs watering a heavy pot shows it still has water in soil and wont need watering

check your pot every couple of days for weight. if it feels lighter than usual water the beast !!!

Small seedlings dont require much light, but do require that the soil stay moderatly moist. Use a smaller plug or small pot and water everyday. When it has developed a couple more nodes you can repot and lower the lights. I don't know how many plants your trying to start, but I would start a few, in case some die, or are males, and to grow out when you send to flower.

plant the seed, the diameter of the seed below surface, put in dome, heat from bottom around 80 degrees, humidity around 90%. I always sprout in peat moss (jiffy pellets), and if your seeds are good, 95% germ ratio. Looks like you got dry soil, and the conditions are too rough for a tap roo, rock wool, jiffies or nice soft potting soil, ph balanced ofcourse. Use a small pot, roots need to dry out to grow, and they need to be wet to dry, so water them, not mist. Mist in pellets or wool.
Oh and no nutes for two weeks

I have a question about my seedlings along the same lines..Here are two pics of 4 day old seedlings in sixteen oz cups. I have just been misting the soil and getting it moist. Are u saying I should let the soil dry and then like wet the soil to where it comes out the bottom the next time and then repeat?:hump:

pimp: Yes, those look pretty healthy for four days

spraying the soil, only allows for foliar feeding, as the water wont reach the bottom of the cup, the tap root has nowhere to go. Idealy you want to water from the bottom at this stage
