that's just sad, that so many people who consider themselves "patriots" are so fucking deluded that they support a traitorous family of thieving amoral criminals, and try to blame every bit of harm they've done on everyone but the trump family and their enablers.
Good thing there's zero chance that trump or any of his criminal organization will ever get in office again after Jack Smith gets done with them.

it underlines that behind our broken politics, there is and operates a deeper problem:
our tribalized, fractured information ecology.

At least one major ideological tribe feasts on unfact.
This will not correct itself as long as corporate profiteering in unfact is permitted.

It stands as a warning against pseudolibertarian news policy. That benefits hate pastors, Murdochs et al. and injures a diverse and inclusive society.

Their pet legislators are actively preventing regulations that reflect the fact that the totalibertarians’ objective is to replace a society of, for, by the people with a nonrepresentative oligarchy.

The First Amendment does not cover seditious treason.

That’s why the upcoming Jan 6 trials are the crossroads for our future. If the implementers of this information schism as a part of the larger insurrection are not publicly held to account and to severe consequence, our future as a republic is in grave doubt.
