Does anyone know a reliable source to get some Burmese seed. It is on High times best weed of all time top ten list (actually I think its #1 or 2)

i got mine from kindseeds.com via the vancouver island seed company.a buddy grew it out west,i was impressed so order i did,but would also like to here more feedback,i only cracked a few seeds but it looks like indica phenos so far,but when the weather warms i will do them all.

The Burmese that I seen in Jan. 2009 High times looks like Indica to. I don't know if it is a hybrid or what.

I never see much info about Burmese online. I've seen it for sale at BC Bud Depot, though. The most experience I've had with raising it was a strain called Bonkers (Burmese X Grapefruit).. it was an easy going grow.. a little bug susceptible it seemed but i got rid of them and the bud..? it was bonkers..

The Burmese in High Times is from V.I.S.C. It just looks like an Indica from the picture (has really thick leaves for a sativa)
yeah, that makes sense seeings as Reeferman JUST released his pure Burmese, never mind.

ive seen a strain caled buku..burmese kush from TH SEEDS,,i think..ive never tried it or anything.but it sure looked frosty in the pic..:bigjoint:

I grew Burmese from Reeferman a couple years ago and it is one of my favorites. It looks and acts like an indica dom while it's growing but the high isn't typical indica. It is a great strain, smelled orangy-spicy in flower and the high was very contemplative and insightful. This photo is from late October and she blended in perfectly with the fall colours. She really kept going as the temperatures dropped as well, which not all strains do.

The weed from Reeferman all looks good, But I have heard some bad reviews about germ. problems and just crappy genetics. I think I also heard they are trying to unload all the seed they have because they are going out of business.

the burmeese i got was from visc,it is looking indica, but im told it smokes sativa we will see.

There's been a lot of complaints about VISC seeds germination too, but not recently.
I think Reef's seeds are over priced now at least at Hemp Depot. As soon as Reeferman announced he was retiring H.D. raised the price. People either love or hate the guy it seems. Me, I'm going to stockpile as many strains as I can afford (the Burmese isn't one of them though). We're talking a High Times Hall Of Fame breeder here. I've only grown out 3 of his strains and have 5 more to try plus I WILL be buying more just in case the retirement is for real.

I only really wanted to try "Willy Nelson" and "Love Potion#1". I really to tell you the truth don't know jack about "VISC"

I grew the Willie Nelson and crossed him to a lot of other stuff I grew since including his Bohdi Sativa which is part Burmese.
IMHO it's not worth $120 but I'll grow it again with the seeds I made someday that's for sure.

I grew out Ambrosia (God Bud x Burmese) from Jordan of the Islands, and it was damn fine pot. Very resinous and great flavour, medium yield. I ended up with one purple pheno, and one green which I grew for a while. Didn't do well outside in Ontario, no chance to finish off before the frost settled in.

I also grew Ambrosia from some seeds my old man gave me. I crossed an Ambrosia female with a pure Afghan male and now its even better. The only thing I don't like about this strain is the lack of yield.

I'm with ya on the lack of yield, the resin/flavour is what kept in in my room for a few cycles. I'm sure the Afghani would add a lot to the equation. How does the cross taste?

frmboi the seed companies listed are they safe to the us? I see they say they ship worldwide just been real cautious ever since emery thing. Love the canadian genetics though. Does anyone have any report about kindseed.com
