Lol, homebrewer, I like your style and always have. I'd don't always agree with you but for the most part you do help a lot of folks out there that may be confused, I think the good advice you give off sets all your arguments with some people. Don't get me wrong, I like to read them. Keep up the good work :)

Depending on what scale you're on, 850-900ppm or about 1.2-1.3 EC is where I like to run things and I get the best yields by doing so. I ran their nute schedule though my GH vs DG thread and there was clearly some nute burn by week 4 at their generic levels. Can't blame them, it's just a suggestion across all plants and vegetables.

I agree. That's why I run maxibloom. Just that little bit of extra N, plus the P and N are not trying to duke it out in flower. Thats a lot of p. Npk raw makes a N only nutrient and also ,GH micro carries another 5 of n over.So that's what I use instead of just the NPK Raw N. nice to know about the Dyna though. That was my other possible go to for my grows.
 
I'm growing in terra pro plus which is a light mix apparently. can anyone help me with a guideline dosage for dyna gro products? I can't seem to get it right I'm not sure if I have been overfeeding or underfeeding but some of my plants do not look good. Yellowing all over. I'm in week 4 of flower, the yellowing started two weeks in on some of the plants. I gave plain water twice and just now a feed of grow 4ml per 5 litres mag pro 2ml per 5 litres and 7ml per 5 litres of Pro tek as the pH was so low. Ec was around 1.1.. Ph 6.4
(1 us gal = 4.5 litres)

In case no one else can help. When I was using Dyna-Gro I think I was at 700-800 ppm for pretty much everything at all stages and it was pretty good. Can’t recall ph but I imagine 6ish.

check your run off ph and ec/ppm and flush with 700-800 ppm (or better suggestion), until run off is correct. Make sure it needs good watering before or chance of overwatering. Not sure how your exact media/soil will play a roll in all that.

It’s been a while since I have been using dynagro but I’m pretty sure what I ended up doing with it.

It's interesting you should ask that. About 6 months ago I bought some DG bloom off Amazon. It arrived at my door as SuperThrive Bloom. I called DG and they said something about a merger, or Superthrive now owns the bloom formula? I can't remember. Regardless of that, I tested the Superthrive bloom and it came in kind of watery at 72 ppm/ml/gal (.7 scale). I feel like it was more potent than that in the past? I'm sure I documented the potency of the older bottles somewhere. I even calibrated my TDS pen and got the same reading. Can anyone confirm this? Are the newer SuperThrive Bloom bottles more diluted? At 72 ppm/ml/gal, it's not a good value anymore, IMO.
 
I think I still have some Protekt and KLN around but I'm growing with GH now, mostly Maxibloom. Really gotten comfortable with that.

I'm going to test maxibloom soon as I need a new bloom formula. I like GH stuff too. Have you ever measured its potency? Like, how many ppms are in a gram of that stuff? Does that make sense? I'm really curious about the cost of use.
 
My water starts at 280. I run 2.5g per gallon plus some cal/mag. That takes it to around 880 ppm. Sorry, I have never taken readings before the calmag, so that's my total brew. Next time I refill I'll check! I'll say that I'm not looking for a new magic formula anymore. My grows took off when I switched.

Nice to see you again. I'm still using Foliage Pro, it's good stuff. I was surprised when the new FP said SuperThrive on it. I'm contemplating finally moving to dry salts from my tried and true GH Flora series runs out.

I was wondering what might change with the superthrive merger.
I think it runs similar to old school dynagro.
I wonder if the chemical makeup is the same.
I think i had better ph stability with original recipe bloom.
Hard to say for sure.

I ran the new Foliage Pro and it provided identical results. The original Bloom always dropped out of solution and after three replacements I gave up and heating it wouldn't return it to solution so I threw in the towel.
