As people have extrapolated already, neither the unstoppable force, nor the immoveable object could ever actual exist beyond that context. Things like asteroids or the sun, have to much kenetic energy to be stopped by us, or to much mass to be moved by us, respectively. The most we can do is speculate. If I were to make such a speculation I would say that in order to stop the unstoppable force you would have to remove it's energy, no? So the immovable object would remain unmoved, and the energy of the unstoppable force would be changed to potential energy, thus contained within the immovable object would be the potential of infinite kenetic energy.

I think that question has nothing to do with the universe because the objects in the galaxy are moving constantly and depending on the objects gravitational force and mass can be pulled in to each other thus breaking apart and moving on..

nope.. both objects would cease to exist and the paradox from said contact would have a ripple effect through time and space and the afore mentioned items would cease to have ever been or to be. in short they would effectively remove themselves from time itself. The affects of which are unknowable. Meaning it could be nothing or it could be disasterous, depending on how many events in time that the object had been involved in, to the entire stability of the universe. Either way the effects of such an occurance would be bad, very bad

I've sought meditation for the answer to this. Oooommm ooommmm (sound of me meditating) what, i see the solution, getting nearer, closer, almost can see it, ok i got it! The answer is that it really does not matter. Everyone can go back and forth about immovable and unstoppable. I think this thread is immovable and unstoppable. That is in fact the deep thought of a thinker. Not bothering to think about things that don't matter. No haters please! I love you all!

The unmovable object would not exist because everything is technically moving away from a fixed point at the center of the universe. Therefore the unmovable object would already be moving.
