Early flower stage. Lots of new branches on manifold

13 weeks in. Turned off the blue in the middle. I raised the frame up some. 16" above the canopy. The 3 gallon pot is still green and looks good. The 5 gallon in the rear is looking a bit stressed. Yellowish leave near bottom. Staying as close to my EC and pH as possible. What would moving the red and blue light bars do for me? No far red, just additional deep red.3931.jpg3932.jpg3929.jpg

I've been looking at the girl in the back (Sour Tangie) and the up reaching of the leaves has subsided somewhat. Now top leaves are turning yellow. ST in the front still looks good. 3941.jpg3943.jpg

Do you have an old school ph test with liquid drops to manually test. Looks like your ph could be too high in the water. I’m not saying your ph meter is not calibrated properly, but proper ph of water was the biggest adjustment going from hid to led.

I do. I'll check that today. I'll also feed a bit heavier today and check the run off. 3 gallon seems to be doing well at this point. I did a test strip check yesterday and that told me ( if the strip works properly ) that my EC is low, 0.1, and alkalinity is almost 0. Central Virginia well water.

The drops test tells me my pH is 5.9-6.0. I cleaned out my nutrients jugs and tested the well water from them. Before cleaning my ec was 0.7. After it reads 0.0-0.1. My well water is almost like distilled or RO. I read that if you need to increase your ec use "calmag water". Does that mean use 1 gallon of water with the regular does of calmag and add that, as needed, to change your numbers

So I am wondering if the ph jumps when the nutrients are added? My soil grows when I was using FF Trio I had to add AN cal mag through flowering. I only backed off on the grow big slightly and I used AN big bud week 4 and overdrive week 7/8. With that said I have switched to down to earth dry amendments and I use at least two heaping tablespoons of pulverized lime powder with the dry amendments in 5 gallon fabric. I usually top dress with another heaping tablespoons of lime and spread it around and I still sometimes add a watering of AN cal mag around week 6/7 on a 10 week strain. My watering is just ph water to 6 When I was using liquid fertilizer I would start with almost saturated medium and add the liquid nutrients at the end to saturate the soil, just to runoff. The amount of nutrient absorption is much higher under the led vs hid.I used to use Hortilux 315 with UV bulbs. Now Hortilux extended spectrum, kind led with uv(never more than 75% and mostly at 50%) and a gml with a hlg uv bar. All at 12” inches. As much as many will contest the use of cal mag and lime it has been one factor that seems to help.
