ive been reading 5 pages of this, so i guess i should put my .02 cents in.
all the relationships ive been in were always longterm. i never had a relationship or a GF for under 3 months. my longest was 3 yrs. (im only 21). we broke up like 5 months ago.
anyway.... im very romantic you can say i guess. i'll call and leave "cute" voicemails and texts. send flowers to her work sometimes, notes..etc. i have never given any reason for her to think she's not my #1, because she is. I'll always tell her she's beautiful, even though she's heard it a million times, its always better comming from her man.
idk it may sound gay for me to say things like that.. but hey, i have game and i like to take care of my gf's, because in the end they take care of me, emotionally, mentally and physically. plus haveing a good gf keeps us guys out of trouble.
in the bedroom....
it depends what kind of day it is. sometimes its makeing love in my bed with candles and music playing. other times its hardcore sex and she cant get out of bed for 2 hrs after. haha. whatever it is though, i always take care of her 3-4 times before i get my turn .

A lot of us women feel this way. It can be a real turn on to just let yourself be swept away by ferocious need, but you have to remember that it can take just one bad experience to turn you off. listen up guys... There is nothing wrong with telling your woman that she turns you on. There is nothing wrong with showing her respect and allowing her the dignity of KNOWING that you love her, that she can count on you. There is nothing wrong with being there for her, supporting her, encouraging her, being happy just to be in her presence. There is nothing wrong with doing things for her, making small sacrifices, showing her that she is more important to you than your colleagues, your friends at the pub, etc. It is NOT gay to tell your woman that you love her, respect her, are glad that she is in your life. If you said those kind of things about a man... that would be gay. If you like pussy and are willing to give a little extra in order to get a better return from the deal... THAT IS NOT GAY!!! One may say that it's a smart investment.
However, it seems that you're on the right path, young fella. If all that you say is true, and if you can remember all of that in the future, you should lead a quite blessed life... at least in the love department.
I think the only way anyone can be a sucky lover is to not know what your partner needs. I agree with you completely... but not just in the bedroom. If you can't communicate and be completely open and honest with one another in your daily lives, it won't matter how hot the sex is. Communication and intimacy are essential in the bedroom... but it's vital at all other times too. You can't argue with your partner all day long and just have great sex for an hour or two before you fall asleep. Relationships don't work that way.

Err... how do I put this politely... um, yeah, I think that is a little weird. How old are you? Does she have nothing else in her life?
My partner goes to craft fairs with me.
I'm an artist and I do that kind of thing every now and then. He COULD stay home and play games in peace and quiet (he doesn't particularly LIKE craft fairs), but he goes with me because he likes to be interested in what I do. He even gives me ideas and helps me pick things out if I need him to. And he's NOT gay... I can tell you that unequivocally. But, having said that, love's not just a one-way street, either. A girl shouldn't expect all of this love and respect if she's not going to give the same in return. Whether he needs help when working on the car, or whether he needs help to build a fence, or just an ear to listen... I'll do what I can to make things easier for my other half. If you can look at your spouse as a friend first and foremost, it's easy to do little things to make them happy. It makes for a much more pleasant atmosphere... and as gay as it may sound, I'm going to say it... having a soul-mate that you know you can love and trust unreservedly is simply joyous.
