what strain should i get for my commercial grow next year
i want something that will finish in michigan
has a heavy yield
and is potent

thanks

High-Grade-Seeds.com has some good commercial strains that they call "super-strains" or whatever. Theyre suppose to be pretty potent too.

None of those strains suggested will finish in time in michigan. Frankly your only options are strains like early girl, early misty, etc. Michigan just gets too cold too early to have any strains that grow longer.

Just look around on seed banks for strain that finish sept to early october AT THE LATEST

Green Crack finishes in a little over 40 days. It's clone only tho, but if you can get mango seeds I believe they are very similar

I dissagree 100%,top 44 is a perfect finisher for the short michigan season as long as its not from seed,if the plants are vegged indoors (they should be anyways) for one month they finish perfect, been there & done that, infact im doing top 44 outdoor michigan next season as well,it finishes in plenty of time.

from what i hear any higher precentage indica or pure indica will finish in time and be hardy for the last few weeks that will be cold. As long as you veg for a month or so indoor(which you should anyways) you will be ok. be careful with mold in the last few weeks.

It will also mold big.

Man I had a heck of a time with mold this year on my indicas.

When that big hurricane came into the gulf it rained here for 5 days non stop.

Seriously all day, all night... rain.

Look into some texada timewarp, it should finish around the end of september and give you some grade a bud with which to sell\smoke\give away to helpful RIU'ers.

ive grown at least 20 different strains from seed banks like green house seeds, female seeds, and nirvana. they all finished on time(tried to pick strains that breeders said finished by mid october at latest).. some plants had bud rot some didn't. some grew 8 feet some grew 8 inches. the buds might not have been as compact as they would have been if grown in an extended brilliantly sunny climate, but they got me high as fuck, and tasted greeeeeeeeat! growing is so damn fun and beats the hell out of spending 300-400 for an ounce of someone elses chronic. (i'm from mi and grew around flint area)

right, i didnt even think about pre-vegging them. I always just go out johnny-appleseed style and whatnot. Corn fields work great.

how about spice of life seeds 'legends ultimate indica' or thseeds 'mendocino madness'.. they are both supposed to finish by end of sept at 50 degree lat. metro detroit area is 42 degree lat. Plus the lui is a plant thats said to be grown in B.C. which has way more humidity than our area.. pretty sure thats the case at least
