Hey Everybody,
Sorry to get back on subject, but has anybody used molasses as a foliar spray?
What I asked was "Has anybody used molasses as a foliar spray"
Maybe I'm an idiot for thinking about using the stuff, but I have it in my cupboard and thought if it could help in the development of buds,I might give it a try.
So, does it help make big buds or is it for a different stage of growth.
I really don't give a shit about the pissing match, but if someone is giving me "good" advice, they can be an ignorant fuck if they want.![]()

i will be ingnorant: use between 3ml per liter and 7ml per liter, and you will be fine. start off lower and then proceed upwardsl. been using this stuff for three weeks and cannot believe the difference!!!
I made newb mistakes yes, but havent we all?
Babygro, if you've used a foliar spray before you'd know that it is extremely hard not to get it on the undersides of some leaves if you're growing a dense bush. This is one reason why I'd prefer something else. You don't necessarily have to worry about clogging stomata.
babygro, I'm not gonna get into a piss match with you. I stated before it was an experimental grow. I didn't really give a shit if they lived or died. My current grow I haven't killed off one. This is my first serious grow. I also find it very hard to believe you have not made a single mistake your majesty. No one is that perfect. I have also stated before I'm done with your immature little insults. Keep doing it and I will report you.No we haven't, speak for yourself, some people actually know what they're doing, don't try and make out everyone makes mistakes like you do.
You've killed some of your plants so far - how did you manage that?
I've grown out 3 plants in my first grow from seed - all three germinated and all three grew into healthy plants but only one of them was female. I took two clones each from all 3 of my plants - all 6 of them rooted and survived until I killed off the clones that were males. Both the female I grew from seed and the two clones I took were grown to harvest.
I germinated 8 seeds on this current grow, all 8 of them sprouted and grew into healthy plants of which 5 of them are female and 3 likely to be male.
I've not killed a single plant, I've germed all my seeds and rooted all my clones.
Not everyone fucks up like you do Kieahtoka.

Your question has already been answered. Molasses can be used as a foliar spray if used as part of an 'organic tea'.
However, I do not advise anyone to use foliar sprays on their plants after about 2 weeks of flowering, due to the risk of bud mould.
So, if your question is, can I use Molasses as part of a foliar spray in flowering beyond two weeks, my answer would be most definitely - no, I wouldn't advise it.
I never said molasses. I said foliar sprays in general. And if you havent ever used one of those before, what are you doing giving advice on them?I don't use Molasses as a foliar spray, therefore I don't have to worry about it do I?
i don't think you understand much about growing at all considering you may have had 3 grows...but you want people to think you know alot...and then you degrade people for pointing out your mistakes.
i also didn't tell you how i applied it so you don't knowyou assume i don't use a wetting agent or make teas, but actually i do, you are just making assumptions just like you always do guessing not actually knowing that's what you do.I have been growing many years and know many more breeders and farmers and actually know, not assume many things, more than you could hope to retain in your tiny head, ever. all foliar feeding leaves residual even if you use plain water to wash away residual you will never get ever little bit, some stomata will get clogged, it's worse when you have cane sugars in the tea..even when you use what you say is the correct "dose".I'm not saying so many stomata are clogged it out ways the benefits of the foliar feeding but i prefer to feed my plants through the soil...man you are funny you get so frustrated you have to call people names...LOL..LOL...so funny
I never said molasses. I said foliar sprays in general. And if you havent ever used one of those before, what are you doing giving advice on them?
Thanks Babygro,
That's what I was trying to find out. I had read all the info about molasses increaseing the size of buds and was curious if foliar feeding would do the same.
And am i correct that you are saying no foliar spray of any type? I'm not trying to get you into another pissing match, I figure you're not talking about things that might be needed to remedy problems, just nutrient additives.
Thanks again![]()
Keep doing it and I will report you.
You're perfectly entitled to your opinion, however, don't be too distressed if I pay it no heed asshole.
I'm the asshole here? I don't use Molasses as a foliar spray, you do and clog your plant leaf stomata because of it. Now who's the asshole?
And I'm the one who's supposed to know nothing about growing?
Hahaha asshole.

I don't advise you use ANY foliar sprays in flowering after about 2 weeks due to the risk of bud mould.
But hey, apparently I don't know fuck all about growing, so don't take my advise.
I never said molasses. I said foliar sprays in general. And if you havent ever used one of those before, what are you doing giving advice on them?
BabyGrow, I just bet you are just having some serious cramps and hot flashes! It happens to all women around middle age.
Have you considered MIDOL or Hormone Replacement?
It's a good thing they don't allow Negative Rep here anymore. I've never seen anyone here say a kind word about you, even if you are a woman.
