Yeah, I mean how dumb was John McCain to allow that. Just like Bush, history will remember Palin in a poor light. Let her have her book deal and let her have her publicity. I have no doubt that her life is actually quite miserable when you cut through all of the media bullshit. Her kid has an illegitimate child, her husband's a drugie, and her academic record consists of 3 community colleges and 1 somewhat legitimate university (3 of the 4 of which she failed out of). Not to mention how everyone outside of Alaska (and half of the population IN Alaska) despise her.
She's getting everything she deserves. No matter how happy she looks on the news beleive me, when that camera turns off, life comes right back and punches her in the fucking face. If anything, I pity the poor woman. She's made a lot of terrible choices in her life and there are a lot of burdens that she has to live with every day. Of course that doesn't excuse anything, but there's definitely no reason to envy her or feel threatened by her.

The palin clan is gonna move to alabama or georgia or some other state where she can EASILY restart her
political career (after all Alaska sure isn't gonna re-elect her).
People down there like her, and she knows it.
the realy scary part is: she may one day wind up having a vote in the US senate.

I saw it, I could care less. If you people stop talking about her (and the media stops showering her in lime light) maybe she'll go away.
Of course, if I was a liberal reporter, I'd be seeing if I can't prop Palin up to run in 2012, easy win for Obama, or whoever's running against her. America is a very secular religious nation (comes from a deep seated distrust of authority, I'd imagine...)
