First Grow: Durban Poisen (quasi outdoors)

at what stage in their development would they be able to pollinate? basically what i'm asking is if by the time they are mature to pollinate there would be no question if its male or female right?

You`re gonna definately see - it is a male or female before males can pollinate.

THey finally showed that they were male, so i got rid of them. now i got the 3 fems. 2 durban poisen and 1 new purple power

Hey read through the journal and what an awesome grow man!!! Just a lil tip the lower yellowing leaves you can just take off, helps with the plant giving more energy to the top rather than having to worry about the bottom leaves. Can't wait to see the end result!!!

update. 3 left after pulling the 2 males. the tallest is 4 feet while the others are a little bit shorter.

the one in front is new purple power while the 2 in back are durban poison

they are all doing well. the top in the back are the durban poison and the one in the front is new purple power. some of the new veins on the new purple power are purple now.

I think they are going tos tart flowering in a week or two.

thanks man. hey does anyone know when i will be able to tell they are flowering vs veg stage and when i should switch to flowering nutes vs grow nutes?

is there a "off" time when i shouldn't be feeding them anything?

right now they plants are branching out and look to me like they are getting ready to flower but i dont know.

when you start to see groups of hairs forming ... not just 2 hairs ... like 20 on the tops of branches

thanks. right now i'm def seeing more hairs but its nothing like 20. more like 4 or 6 somewhat close togehter. I guess i have some time still.

They have grown like trees. Can`t even imagine how nice buds they will have.

nice...i am also thinking of growing 10 durban posion seeds that i got from the mail from nirvana...but i am expecting the durbans to grow alot bigger....and i am also planning on planting them in the ground with black plastic bags

Nice man, just read through the thread, the plants are looking great. Its gonna be sweet to see them with some buds! I'm running several purple power plants, and I planted 2 durban seeds, but there was a mix up, so I don't know if my one plant is a durban, a super silver haze, or a Thai skunk. All 3 are similar plants I think so its gonna be hard to tell. Come check out my journal (sig line) i posted some pics yesterday of my indoor purple powers, most of my plants are just over a month old.
