Glenn Beck Calls for Legalization

On todays show at 5:20pm EST Glenn Beck ran a segment where he calls for the legalization of marijuana. Took me aback a bit as he was very sarcastic a day or two ago when he spoke to the proponents of legalization from California.

He listed a great many reasons for why he had reached this decision, many of them the same reasons we have all been calling for legalization. His show does not get replayed, but the segment will probably be available on his website and/or youtube.

It's nice to see rational arguments for legalization coming from national figures who were previously against it.

I heard he was a big partyer. He claims he is a recovering alcoholic and maybe some bud could help the situation. I wish him well.

I seen that tonight before i left for class. I seen him questioning someone last week about legalizing marijuana. This guy was for legalizing it. Glen sounded confused tonight. He didnt make it clear if he was for it or against it but i bet if he researched it enough he would be for it. Im actually seeing the pot thing starting to pop up all over the news in short descret segments.

I saw the episode last week with the pro pot guy. Beck was imo just fuckin with the guy. He also said he could conversate on legalizing just not that to tax it. If the dude that was on the show was on top of his game Beck gave him the perfect chance to make a good case for us.

It's just too bad the legalize talk is happening at the same time our country is in the middle of the worst terroist attack ever.

This is the perfect opportunity to tell the Americans the truth. The truth is that some of the drug money is going to the hands of terrorists. If we tell them that legalization would keep this money out of the terrorist hands then im sure it would pass rather quickly :D

That's one of the reasons I think it's really going to happen this time.

I'm not sure what terrorist attack you're talking about, 9/11? But what we are in the middle of is an economic disaster that could rival the Great Depression. And I, and more importantly a bunch of economists, think that legalization could help in the form of increased tax revenues and the elimination of the costs that are associated with Marijuana prohibition. It seems like a great time for this happen, at least from my perspective. So sign the damn petition already.:-P:-P:-P:leaf::leaf::leaf:

I have not heard him in a few days. Is this something new that he started to talk about? He is an evil conservative, so how can he be talking about legalization?
