OKay. So, once I get the pH controlled, I will begin to pH my water to be exactly 6.50.

However, my one question is this. Although it seems that a slightly lower pH such as 6.3 will not allow much room for Mg, C, and P, is this a wise choice to lower the pH from 6.78 to 6.5? Should I use a little under 6.5 like 6.4 or 6.4 to get it down and then from there use 6.5?
