Perpetual watering

ok i got a question. if i have perpetual watering for my hydroponic set up do i need to get an aqua pump and air stones for my resevoir or should it be ok with just watering continually. im using rockwool and hydroton clay pellets for my mediums

i do the same and use a airstone in the res it helps to get air to the roots..go easy on the nutes..and check ur PH and PPM every day 5.5-6.5
