I was wondering how much a small light for a single plant would be and if there are some more inexpensive ones? Also about the humidity and how all of that works. HELP APPRICIATED!

thats a pretty basic question.
cfls- (energy saving bulbs) are like 3 bucks each, frowned upon....
Floro tubes- like 30 bucks for the fixture 2.50 per tube, works good for sprouts.
leds- a descent grow panel for just one plant is about 50 bucks. (id get the grow panel 145 for 150 bucks, you can grow a few plants with it)
metal halide - works good but the ballast isn't cheap
When you flower the plant you should change your lighting unless your using leds or your a broke ass, kinda like me.
high pressure sodium bulbs work the best for flowering, but also, you need an expensive ballast

dont get leds i dont know what this guy is talkin about leds for...and he's wrong about cfls too(yes they aren't efficient for a larger grow but he's only growing one plant your making him spend money he really doesn't need to).. get 3-5 42w cflsfrom home depot for a 2-3' plant add a couple more for flowering and you'll be straight.. get warm lights and get a fan... humidity should be 40-50% veg 20-30% flower buy a de/humidifier to adjust or you can mist a lot... i wouldn't go lower than 30 if you have temps above 80(but you wont/maybe in the summer) because then you'll get spidermites

cfls are the cheapest way to grow, but if you don't get a large yield using them.
if you go with the cfls, make sure you put some on the sides of the plant too, it helps a lot. keep the bulbs 2 inches away from the plant.
fans are good to use, dont point it right at the plant though, angle it around it.
btw LEDs are very good for growing... they're still a bit pricey though they're lowering.

yea, they might be but why would you waste the money when you can buy a hps or mh emitting 3-5x the amount of lumens

eh, im not a fan of mh, hps works for flowering, leds work for both flowering and vegging. idk just my opinion.

ya i have friends who grown and they say that they use sodium ones or something but thats a bigger system. i think i can invest a good amount in it thow thanks for the help
