Nirvana seeds suck

I'd just like to make a comment about Nirvana seeds. They have good service but lousy seeds. The last two batches I've recieved from them have been terrible. The first ten only germinated 6 out of ten and they were all males, the second ten haven't germinated one yet while my seeds that I harvested from some white widow plants came up and grew healthy. I got about 50% females from them as one would expect. I e-mailed them with these results and am waiting a reply. If I get no reply I am suggesting not to buy from these people. If I get a reply, I will post it here.

I suspect they are going to say that you don't know what the fuck you are doing, but that's just a guess. I don't know either way, but that's likely what they're thinking. I know that a lot of people have ordered from Nirvana and have had good results.

I don't know how you would expect them to know whether or not your plants will be male or female unless they are feminized seeds. I don't know how they would know how many would germinate either.

What method are you using for them? Paper towel and water?

I would think that it's probably not the seeds so much as I've germinated seeds that are OLD from bags of weed that I've bought. Hard to believe it's just that their seeds suck.

One thing if you buy white widow and you clearly get big bud or lowryder or some other useless strain.

what strains are you having trouble trying to germ ?
The two strains I've had trouble with are 1. Jock horrer and 2. big bud. My germination method is rockwool cubes soaked in pure water then immersed in about 1/8 in water in a alum tray with a clear plastic cover. My own WW hybrid seeds germinate in the same tray in about 4-5 days, but their seeds dont come up. out of the last 10 only 2 came up and they were males, the big buds have nothing coming. I've emailed them twice and no reply. I don't know if they just got a batch of bad seeds or what, but they aren't even close to being as prolific as my own seeds. This is the same method of germination I used on my last grow and I ended up with one plant that brought in 12+ OZs., my WW hybrid, all theirs sucked and were either scrawney or males. I'd just like to hear from them. I almost gave up on them after the first ten seeds but decided to give them a second chance. BTW, the first batch that I got the WW from was from a different vender, but the cost was triple. I guess you get what you pay for. I've got hundreds of WW Hybrid seeds so I'll just grow that for a while. I'd like a change, but am tired of throwing my money away.

Yeah, you're right, I could be a dumb fuck, but I'm not. My method has worked in the past and I'm sure it will work in the future. The thing is, the seeds show a white in the crack, but never come out. I'll go with the paper towel thingy and see if it works. Ive grown pot for 40 years off and on. I'm surely no expert, but once the seeds sprout I can keep them alive.

I ordered some misty from them and they had the same problem of starting to open and showing a little white, then doing nothing at all. I sent them an email and they sent me a new 10 pack, should be planting them soon. They said the reason was a batch of hard shelled seeds? And i should try germing them in a glass of water lol.

too much moisture, you are rotting your seeds to death, and overwatering your seedlings, causing excess males.

my only problem with nirvana is their surplus of f2's; i've come to lovingly call them "pheno phinders"", because that's what it's all about. i currently have three outstanding phenos found in nirvana stock.

first of aII that is what you get for being cheap.

Second the maIe to femaIe ratio depends on the growing environment.

3rd that germ rate is actuaIIy ok depending on what method you using and aIso you might just be the unIucky one and recieved a few duds.

So, you are calling Nirvana seeds cheap, you may be right. they haven't replied to my e-mail yet, maybe they just don't care. In fact I gave them 2 weeks to answer my emails before I even posted on this site. Had they answered or sent me another batch of seeds, we wouldn't be having this conversation. I'm saying, they should be more responsible. If I were selling seeds, and I have a thousand WW hybrid seeds, I would certainly take serious an e-mail from one of my customers stating he could not get germination. maybe he was doing it wrong, but what does 10 seeds amount to anyway. If you're growing for seeds, I found out the hard way, it doesn't take much to get a few thousand seeds from a couple of plants. IMHO, marijuana seeds are way overpriced to begin with. I left my grow room on Auto-pilot for 1 week and came back to a clusterfuck of my white widow plants (2) and a very prolific Male of unknown virtue (The extra 10 seeds you get sometimes) there was yellow pollen everywhere. I threw at least half the seeds out and still have around a thousand seeds. I used these seeds to grow my last batch and had one stand out bitch put out over 12 dried OZs. I'm just getting bored with the smoke, even though it's dynamite, you know if you smoke the same shit every day it gets old, so I have ordered some more seeds from another vender. I'd like to share my seeds, but don't know how to remain annonymous, so youse guys are out of luck.

Ive heard my m8s all say nirvanas genetics are not the best if any thing

i bought some snow white the other day and placed the 10 of them on a wet tissue with a drop of hormone gel on it 2 days and 8 of them hatched u really need to go for a f1 if u buy from nirvana i think
That jack horror is a 3 way cross skunk, northern lights ,and haze sounds like a lot of genetics going on there
Drop the seeds in a glass of water and the 1s that sink are the good 1s if they floot they are no use

I germinated 10 nirvana cali orange in under 72 hours. ALL germinated and now Growing healthy. Maybe they are having trouble with certain strains?
