seedlings

put ur had at the level of the plants, and lower the lamp till it feels slightly warm, thats a perfect height.

If you have a cool tube you can get them very close.

Rule of thumb as is stated earlier. Place your hand on top of plant, if it is too hot for your hand then it is too hot for the plants.

A safe distance would be about 12 inches
