No, it will pollinate nearby plants and cause them to seed, not turn to a hermy. The seeds produced will most likely be hermy though.

Smokey, I'm sorry but I don't agree. I know what you're referring to, but this simply isn't a matter of male and female plants pollenating. It's more complex than that. I don't even have a single male plant in my possession, nor a plant that could possibly be male. I get clones from medical marijuana dispensaries, and order mostly high-grade feminized seeds off the internet. I bought a mid-grade feminized Church seed and this is why I'm having this problem.
This isn't a male plant, this is a feminized plant. I have experience letting males grow out and pollenating other crops, however I've never in my life had a legitimate female turn hermie because of its genetics, thus it doesn't have the same properties as a male, nor a female plant that was pollenated by a male. To get feminized seeds you basically stress a good female plant to go hermie, which changed the genetics to give me what I have. The plant hasn't been stressed at all by ME to go hermie, because everything else I'm growing is thriving and the conditions are good, even my bagseed plants look amazing. I don't have any light leaks because I put up a black tarp inside my grow box (under the mylar) to light seal. Here are pics of the Church. There are NO pollen sacks, just "banana dick" areas that I'm removing as suggested on here (with tweesers and water). The nugs are starting to fill out.

Feminized seed has a good chance of having hermie traits. If you have one go herman you want to get rid of it, do not clone it, your clones will go herman too. Hermie plants that release pollen WILL NOT TURN OTHER PLANTS HERMIE!!!! The pollen will cause other plants to produce seed instead of Bud and those seeds may carry the hermie trait to its offspring, but its not certain, each seed will be different genetics due to it being a non stabilized strain.
Once again, feminized seed many times has hermie tendencies, you have to find the seed that grows into female and does not have hermie traits, clone that plant only. Cull the herman plants they will ruin a whole crop. Only a very small amount of pollen is needed to make every plant in 10 feet go to seed. You can pinch off the balls and that will help, but expect to have some seed as its nearly impossible to see some of those pollen sacs.

I understand that part. Trust me, this strain is not getting cloned or living on, I'm just experimenting with different strains.
From my knowledge, seeds and pollen are not produced in the same sacs. At the moment there are only seed pod developments, referred to on here as "Banana Dicks", and I've been diligent about removing those. I'm familiar with male plants and I know what to look for as far as pollen sacs go, and I haven't seen any. It's about 4 weeks into flowering and the only thing the plant seems to be producing is bud... it's a feminized seed after all, it's suppose to do that.
Is it possible that the seed pods are just a sign of a low-grade strain, instead of hermie?
I seem to be confusing some people when I say hermie, because everyone has one solid concept of how a plant can hermie. I believe there are different variations of a hermie plant, and I believe that I have a milder version which is really just seedy bud/shawg/whatever you want to call it. And I also believe that if all my plant is producing seeds, then how can it possibly mess up any surrounding plants? Am I wrong? Am I really going to see any pollen sacs develop in the next 4 weeks? I just don't believe so. Male flowers with pollen look a lot different at this stage, than anything I have on my plants. Do you, or anyone else, know anything specifically regarding that?
Look at the pics above, I know they aren't great but you can get an idea that there's some fat bud sites coming along, and I can vouch that almost every banana dick is off of it, and theres nothing that I came across that looked like a pollen sac. Sorry for beating a dead horse with this, but I'm not getting the answers to the questions I was looking for. Advice?

Bro a hermie will either have regular looking pod like sacs or banana like sacs,sometimes a plant will hermie from the beginning sometimes the last couple of weeks.SEED PODS ARE NOT a sign of low grade strain but a sign or hermie tendencies it acquires genetically.If it wasn't a hermie it wouldn't have sacs or bananas.Hermie plants produce bud and if you keep removing the sacs or bananas you will eliminate almost all seeds,but you probably wont find all the sacs or bananas,they hide undeneath bud sites that are hard to see without physically moving buds and looking under.Hermie plants still can produce good weed.

That is well put.
However that does not answer the question about the difference between seed pods/bananas and pollen sacs. A pod with a seed in it, doesn't explode with pollen. However on a male plant there are flowers that are usually white and open up with pollen. I understand there will be seeds in my bud... I lived in New Jersey at one time I know what shitty weed is like... my concern is that since my plant is getting seedy is there any chance that it could show male flowers that open up and pollinate because I have yet to see any. This isn't a matter of a female that was pollinated by a male, but of hermie genetics. So what does that mean specifically for pollen? The buds are looking great and the plant is looking great.

Those banana like pods you have release pollen but when they open up it does not look like regular male flowers,kind of but not exactly.When I have gotten a hermie with bananas instead of pods in my experience they do not produce as much pollen emphasis on in my experience.I have had 4 strains that I have had hermies with,3 times they were seeds from dutch passion,not to put them on blast but I will never order their seeds again.

Yeah, my Church came from GreenHouse seeds. That's very enlightening. Would you get rid of the plant, fearing it will mess up the rest? I guess I'll just have to wait till I start seeing pollen sacs really forming.
