are the lumens worth the heat this lamp produces? theres a 400w HPS in a cool tube, but the 150 6500k ushio is bare... is it worth having late in flower with the added heat? - its hot as fuk already , have an a/c...

just one mom at the moment daughter soon to come
 
I've turned off the 150 lamp since its just too hot here..... I've been thinking of adding a blue LED array next time because I've read on here they create the area of spectrum HPS lacks, also I hear you can leave them on during dark cycles and can increase yield....

dont know about the led,never used them.but you dont want to increase heat in your grow room espesially if its already really hot.i would shut the light off.if anything try a couple 13 or 23 watt cfl's for side lighting.im sure there alot cooler than the 150 watt.
