Can I re-use medium?

50% jiffy mix
40% perlite
10% coco

Can I re-use it.????
Why would my White Widow germ., but not my Bubble Gum.. 6 days....

why r u using a wick system? Lets see some pictures.


Coco is totally reusable. gotta peroxide bathe it or what not. search it up top.

Seems like you could reuse the perlite if washed effectively.

I would not change reusing the "jiffy mix"

4 days tops on germination probably. Jiffy starter cubes has no water? Pics would b nice.

Like wick systems..... simple, cheap, effective.
Mix is.... mixed. Have read problem id decomp of any remainig roots.

Moved seeds from ziplock/paper towel... and put in cubes under light. 1 of bubble gum up 1"... others moving slower.....

Need to know 'bout re-using this mix or make new......

any kind of "zyme" product will take care of the leftover organic matter in the medium.
